🌿 Accent Aigu is an experimental electronic music project that was founded on April 15, 2011, by Max Gael Martin (Kazakhstan) and Kate Izgina (USA). Their common love for electronic music pioneers from the 60s, as well as contemporary artists like Depeche Mode, VCMG, Jean-Michel Jarre, Akira Yamaoka, and Nine Inch Nails, led to the creation of this sound art project

🌿 In its musical research, the project seeks and explores: the psychoactive effect of sound on human perception; creation of unique soundscapes for mental journeys through free visualization/contemplation; relaxation/concentration techniques, and directly the creation of sound canvases for meditation and sleep; new methods of working with sound, with an "accent" on experiments, and the imitation of popular sound universes in media art

🌿 To achieve their unique sound, Accent Aigu incorporates field recordings, vocals, live instruments, DIY sound devices, and digital sound processing and generation. Their music covers a range of genres, including drone, electro, noise, ambient, dark ambient, lowercase, field recordings, minimal, trip hop, post-noise, ritual, and musique concrète

🌿 The project has worked with several labels, including ΠΑΝΘΕΟΝ, GV Sound, Run on Recordings, TapeSafe, Spheredelic, DNA Production, and remfeverlabel, among others.
