The ACCENTEP series continues with a special new opus, produced by the founder and curator of the Sub Accent label. ‘Spiral EP’ is produced in 2024 and following a precise modus operandi: the construction of tracks that are both minimalist and progressive, with a tendency towards acid deep techno. Conceived as a catalogue of tools, Spiral EP is clearly aimed at dancefloors, and intended for the most demanding listeners and DJs. Rooted in the classics of progressive electronic music, this set of eight tracks attempts to reanimate the genre through a more contemporary and direct production.

 Laima Adelaide is a Stuttgart-based artist and label founder of Predawn Records together with Nils Edte. She studied classical composition at the University of Music and the Performing Arts in Stuttgart. Her sound signature is unique, both minimalist and pure, with impeccable sound design and an aesthetic close to the Bauhaus school. Through subtle frequencies and the use of poly-rhythms, Laima Adelaide proposes a vision of a macroscopic or molecular world, where atoms collide and the space between electronic music and natural space dissipates. 

Welcome to this hour of perfect mix, between deep techno, organic and hypnotic, just close your eyes and let yourself be caught in a beneficial and protective darkness.

Let's continue together this musical adventure that has been going on for eight years now! 

Indeed, the first opus was released on June 1st, 2015, from a deep desire to support a pioneering and adventurous electronic music; without exhaustive stylistic limits, and which wanted to be at the same time experimental, deep, mixed and sincere. 

It then became obvious that it was necessary to reveal a music that would have as its only contours the inherent musical originality of each of these artists, regardless of their age, origin, orientation, experience, nationality, genre, recognition... 

Twenty six releases later, and despite many difficult moments, loneliness, variable echoes, tensions, doubts, the label still exists, and resists ephemeral fashions, in a discreet niche of enthusiasts from all over the world! It is therefore essential to thank you all today for having supported in one way or another this slightly crazy, human and fragile project, carried only by the love and passion of music. 

In order to celebrate this new step of the label, it is time to present our new release ACCENTLP005, signed by one of the key producers (both in the structural sense of the project, but also as a Light) our dear and beloved Gëinst! He alone is one of the reasons why this structure still exists, because each time I discovered his new tracks, I had so many emotions, that it was impossible not to react, to be silent in front of this pure and rare beauty. It is therefore normal and logical to release his first long format of six tracks, with solar and esoteric accents, where groove trance and deep techno flirt with softness, luminous and subtle, where finesse and elegance intertwine with relentless rhythms of strength and dynamism, Evangelion LP is an ode to joy, freedom and love! 

This album is a testimony to the strength of music, freed from the canons, rid of authoritative figures that have become monotonous and too conventional, become hybrid, fresh and above all FREE. <3

Nahim Bendjilali aka Nems-B is a DJ and producer based in Marseille, and manager of the famous Phonons podcast series. As a producer, he's had some great releases on prestigious labels such as On Board Music and Oslated, and he's also included a wonderful track on our brand new compilation ACCENTVA008! 
We're delighted to welcome him here today for the month of May, in a set that's precisely groovy, subtle and minimalist, that's both deep and progressive, powerful and haunting. Hey world, now it's 1st November, and to celebrate this new period, we decide to showcase a very special mix from our founder and curator Johan Bonnefoy aka Sub Accent! This set was recorded for Hélène Latte's painting exhibition ‘Pigment pixel’, during the night at the museum at Salle Gilbert Gaillard, Clermont-Ferrand. For this performance, the entire space was plunged into darkness and under UV light. I have tried to translate my feelings about Hélène Latte's abstract painting into music, synesthetically.

After a short spring break and our latest ACCENTVA008, which was very well received by the scene, Accents Records is back with its original format and the pioneering ACCENTEP series, dedicated to solo EP releases and the digital format. This allows artists to express themselves forcefully and effectively through a corpus of 4 to 6 tracks that define as closely as possible the scope of their current output. 

Always at the forefront of electronic music research, where experimentation and techno music meet, the label has chosen to highlight the complex musical work of Australian artist @diffusedsignal .

For this special occasion, this is our thirtieth release from the catalogue, the genius producer who has already signed to renowned labels such as Lowless, Circular Limited and Crescent London is not new here either, having joined Various Artists ACCENTVA007 last year, offers us what he does best with this original opus made up of six previously unreleased works oscillating between atmospheric techno teeming with detail, psychedelic driving techno tracks, lysergic tribal half-steps, quasi-industrial and mechanical excursions, where nocturnal ambiences flirt with ethereal and poetic pads, over which sharp and fearsome polyrhythms intertwine. E L A has done us the honour of hosting this 28th episode with a selection that's as precise and demanding as ever. The rising star of the Milanese scene has earned her place on the underground electronic music scene over the years, being invited to perform on some fine line-ups alongside artists such as Primal Code, Launaea and D-leria. She recently had the privilege of opening a stage at the world-famous Positive Education Festival in Saint-Etienne. Her original sound signature lies at the crossroads of innovative experimental music, deep and tribal music, futuristic breaks, lunar ambient and silky polyrthym. The time has come to unveil the label's next release in cassette and digital format. The aim of the ACCENTAPE series is to bring two artistic worlds together, to give the listener a sense of the echoes and resonances between musical approaches whose aesthetics are either not so far apart, or on the contrary, sometimes to play on contrasts and offer albums with more depth. For this new release, it's more a question of two worlds criss-crossing and meeting in a softness and light of musical tones made of complementarity and chromatic sensitive reverberations.

Avsluta is a London-based artist, producer and DJ, curator of the Introspective Electronics radio show and podcast series and organiser of Terra Obscura parties with 10 years under her belt at London’s electronic music institution Phonica Records. Apart from her solo work, she is one half of Vādin, a musical project in collaboration with sound artist Christian Duka. She has released music on Indefinite Pitch, Secuencias Temporales and Huinali, and her musical approach is both atmospheric and organic, including field-recording and vocals, tribal and polyrhythmic percussion. Her signature sound is organic, sensitive and bewitching.

Adhémar is a Paris-based artist, painter, producer and DJ whose approach is deliberately synaesthetic, in which he translates pictorial and coloured sensations into ethereal and dreamlike waves. He is also known for his progressive and delicate DJ sets, notably for renowned series such as Monument, Silent Season, Delayed, and has released EPs on labels such as Different Exhibition, Huinali, Initiate, Ritualism, Artscope...

ACCENTAPE009 is an ideal shared album for this new spring season which promises to be sunny and mild, like the budding of trees, the return of birds, and the flowering of nature.

The month of March is upon us, and in this complex and difficult global geopolitical context, Art is more than ever a vital means of expressing freedom and fulfilment, both collective and individual. Today sees the arrival of an influential artist on the Ukrainian scene, Svarog, who has been active on the hypnotic techno scene for a decade. The artist has cut his teeth on renowned labels such as Semantica, Circular limited, Dynamic Reflection, Affin, Nachtstrom Schallplatten... and has performed in clubs and festivals all over Europe. His signature sound is mental, hypnotic, powerful and made for dancefloors. HL Premiere : Adhémar - The Scent of Wind [Accents Records]

ACCENTAPE returns with its ninth release, continuing the series’ mission to connect artistic worlds through sound—sometimes by highlighting similarities, other times by leaning into contrast. This time, it’s a meeting in the middle. ACCENTAPE009 is a delicate convergence of tones, textures, and moods—chromatic, soft-edged, and deeply felt. The release pairs London-based Avsluta—known for her organic, atmospheric productions and deeply curated selections behind the decks—with Parisian producer and visual artist Adhémar, whose work channels color and form into weightless, meditative sound. Together, they offer a slow-blooming album that feels perfectly in tune with the season’s quiet shifts: tender light, budding branches, and long, patient days.

Our premiere today is “Black Mamba”—a track that doesn’t bite, but glides. It opens with a haunting spoken-word passage, almost ceremonial in tone, a whisper of myth and power that gradually dissolves into an airy ambient wash. The stillness stretches and morphs, giving way to a restrained tribal rhythm that pulses beneath the surface, guiding the track forward with hypnotic subtlety. Just when it seems to vanish into the ether, melancholic strings emerge, soft but striking—another layer of identity for the Black Mamba, both queenly and ghostlike. It’s a slow spell, not a strike.
