This little tune appears in the "Cycling Central Asia" film made by two soundcloud friends: the Britisch cyclists Mary Thompson and Peter Root. Their film is on their blog and can be found here: www.twoonfourwheels.com/archives/2344 They also documented sounds along the way and have posted them here @soundcloud.com/beetroute

Last week (June 2013) I revisited their blog only to find out that Pete and Mary were killed in a tragic road accident in Thailand on February 13. Pete had asked me if he could use the song, only a few weeks before he died - his comment is on the original track https://soundcloud.com/fredvangestel/russian-waltz at 00:00 

This waltz will never be the same to me. It is impossible to play it without thinking about this unfortunate couple. When I watch the movie and hear that waltz, tears rise to my eyes.

Their blog is still online and they linked back to the original track but as I changed my SC account name in March or so - the link was broken, so I reactivated the old "accordeosynther" name and posted the tune there so the back link works again on their blog.
