Steven Shade is a native American from Los Angeles who has been part of the illegal rave community since his youth. At the age of 18, he started organizing drum & bass raves. Over the years, Steven transitioned to techno and recently founded his new hardgroove techno label, "Pass the Vibe Check." His tracks have gained support from prominent figures such as I Hate Models, Ann Lee Roberts, Joyhauser, Trym, and Umek. In addition to producing and DJing hardgroove techno, Steven Shade continues to stay true to his passion for drum & bass.

Zum Abschluss des Jahres gönnen wir uns eine neue Punchmix Episode. Die 33. Auflage führt uns mal wieder in die sächsische Drum&Bass Metropole Leipzig, in der sich ACE mehr und mehr einen Namen macht. Grund genug die junge DJane in unserem Blog etwas näher vorzustellen.

ACE entdeckte mit 14 Jahren die Liebe zum Drum&Bass und ist inzwischen Mitglied in der Fat Bemme Crew, die durch bekannte Namen wie Neonlight, Wintermute oder Audite geprägt wird. Zusammen mit ihren Freundinnen Jule und Nele aka Neloy betreibt sie seit diesem Jahr den Vib:ez Podcast. In diesem Format nehmen die drei Leipziger Damen die Musikszene ihrer Stadt näher unter die Lupe und interviewen Veranstalter, DJs und Partygäste. Dazu gibt es Guestmixes und frische Release-Vorstellungen.

Musikalisch bewegt sich ACE im deepen Underground Bass Sound mit der Vorliebe auch mal etwas härter zu spielen. So erreichen ihre Sets die gewisse Club-Schärfe. Auch in unserem Punchmix stehen die deepen Klänge im Vordergrund und werden durch Beats und Breaks begleitet. Tune in!
