Producer Petar Dundov runs his own ‘Neumatik’ studio in Zagreb where he works as a sound engineer as well as producing his own take on techno, house and electronica. The new album ‘Ideas From The Pond’ is his most accomplished work to date and features beautifully layered techno, hypnotic rhythms and shimmering melodies that make this a real landmark release for the Croatian DJ/producer. 

To Dundov, “techno is music that precedes movement. It is dance music, solid enough to carry emotions through the dance floor and abstract enough to be a template forever”. And indeed his breathtaking productions embody this ethos, serving the inherent function of making your body pulse spontaneously while also challenging your brain with its complex melodies and slow-burning, hypnotic progressions.

Although maybe the word “techno” doesn’t give enough detail about his style, it’s probably the nearest ballpark to whose principles his music adheres – and he is keen to expand the horizons of what people know and expect of the genre. But it’s that sense of his tracks being alive, forever evolving and expanding and increasing in intensity, which gives his music its unique sound and has seen his work crossover into a myriad of different areas of the global electronic music scene. The last three years have seen his mind-bending album “Escapements” take the scene by storm with its intricate, ever-changing melodies.

Taking the listener from the club to a tripped out dreamscape, his new album ‘Ideas From The Pond’ brings musicality back to techno and shows that minimal doesn’t need to be one-dimensional. Driving, thrilling and emotionally charged ‘Ideas From The Pond’ is set to cross the techno/house/trance divide and become one of the essential electronic albums of 2012.

Suulo Vs Curl present a lush trip into ethnic house vibes with their debut on ZEHN records. Despite their young age these two have developed a mature sound that resonates with crowds who tend to search for open spaces instead of crowded city centres. "Tapanas kitchen" catches the vibe of a desert oasis draped in a mirage and is the perfect sound of 2019.

Raised in Solingen, brothers Marius & Fabian found a mutual love for house and disco music from an early age. Through the realization that music connects them in a special way, they started putting on local parties and soon after delved into their own productions. The duo eventually received support from the Kittball Records family appearing on their Ibiza Global Radio show multiple times before signing to ZEHN Records. Their 'City of Belem' EP kick starts 2019 for the ZEHN Records imprint which is set to be yet another productive year for the label following releases from Modul Kollektiv, Los Cabra, Deniz Kabu & Wolfson and Daniel Rateuke.

The EP acts as a tribute to their South American trip a few years back and takes in an array of influences from that journey. Kicking off with 'City of Belem' which maintains typical ZEHN Records aesthetics of organic percussive offerings, journey filled atmospherics and alleviating melodies before delicate synth fluctuations, undulating low end and wonderful euphoric break downs take the focus in 'Tapana's Kitchen'

Raised in Solingen, Germany brothers Marius & Fabian got involved in disco and house music early on in their lifes. Realizing that music connects them in a special way they started out by organizing their own parties in local clubs, trying to spin some tunes. Soon after they began to create some tunes of their own, developing a more deep and melodic style.  Promoted and supported by the Kittball records family they will release their first EP "City of Belem" on ZEHN Records in January of 2019.

One by one, the different protocols are being engaged, the fumes of the carbon cooling system slowly haze around the jet propulsion engines, as the shuttle begins its slow and uncertain ascend. 

“Initiating sequence.”

Then, “Lambda”. A telescope looking into the exuberant night sky. Shifting focus. Tracing shiny objects, slow bleeps and rapid sweeps on the near-black canvas. No possibility and no desire of ever seeing everything at once. A collage of details, collectively creating one big picture.
