Straddling house and disco with a unique twist and an eye for the underground, Brighton DJ/producer Nolan is making serious waves right now with key releases on Get Physical, OFF, Nurvous & Gruuv. His recent collaboration with the delectable Amber Jolene on vocals stormed the Beatport charts with remixes from Miguel Puente & Finnebassen which has seen almost 2 million views on youtube already.

His debut release 'Thief' which was snapped up by New York's Nurvous Records, making its way into the discerning boxes of Wolf+Lamb, Droog and Maceo Plex, in addition to being picked up for remix by Huxley and Timo Garcia. His follow up EP was released on the exquisite Connaisseur Recordings last summer, with a bumping Paradise Garage-inspired disco track alongside a stunning revision of an MK classic. Followed by a sizzling hot EP on Audiojack's GRUUV imprint with remixes courtesy of John Tejada and Poker Flat's Kyodai. More recently his collaboration 'House Dance' with soul songstress Rachel Adedeji on Hailstorm created a huge buzz amongst the DJ community featuring remixes from DJ T., Climbers and ATFC. Whilst the latest in a slew of summer releases is out now on Betoko (DIYnamic)'s Chilli Mint imprint.

Pra mim essa é a música do ano. Me acompanhou em todos os shows e festas pelo Brasil, me acompanhou no meu carro em muitos engarrafamentos me enchendo de astral... Tiveram dias em que acordei e coloquei ela bem alta no meu som em casa e  ela veio transformando o meu dia melhor ainda… 

Me contagiei e me emocionei muito com esse som em 2013 e ao mesmo tempo via o resultado nas pessoas quando essa música começa a tocar… A alegria de todos em estar ali naquele momento, todos bem, com saúde, entre os amigos, familiares, amores deixando a música tocar na alma e no coração dizendo: a gente tem que ser fiel aos nossos sentimentos, não podemos abrir mão do que somos… Jamais! (tradução feeling - rsrsrs). "We've come too far to give up who we are".

Então, não poderia deixar de gravar uma versão com o sax nela e dar de presente para os meus amigos e para meu fiel público que me acompanha, me contagia e me impulsiona para o alto!

This is the song of the year for me. It has followed me in all concerts and parties throughout Brazil, in my car during many traffic jams fulfilling me with good vibes… There have been days on which I woke up and played it quite loud on my stereo at home and it made over my day turning it into something even better. 

I was cheered up and thrilled with this sound in 2013 and, at the same time, I could notice the result on people when this song started to play... The joy in everyone in being there at that moment, everybody fine, healthy, among friends and family, letting the music play in their hearts and souls saying: “We’ve come too far to give up who we are”. 

So, I couldn’t let to record a sax version of it and give it as a present to all my friends and faithful audience who follows me, contaminates me with joy and impels me to the top!

As the name suggests, this track is a cover from the hit track from TIGA released in the early 2000s. 

Sugar Hill is one of the most prized Indie Dance/ Nu Disco artists from Brazil, having won the IDMA annual awards for best track and achieved innumerous top 10 singles in labels such as Toolroom, Erase Records and many others.  

For his first release on House Mag Records Sugar Hill teamed up with vocalist Mari Anna to re-right one of the biggest dance anthems from the last decade. “You Gonna Want Me” now has the characteristic vintage nu disco sounds from Sugar Hill that made him famous worldwide and received the magic touch of a soft, but powerful female vocal from Mari Anna.
