so i couldn't help but do another CocoRosie cut... I'm just addicted to their voices :)



this is more of a glitch-hop type, as compared to werewolf, though a bit of dubstep influence is apparent as the track gets further along.



this is still very much a work in progress, the drums need to be rendered to audio and then chopped and glitched a lot more, and I wanna do more editing work on the vocals as well... and there are some definite mastering issues to be sorted out... but I wanted to at least post this up to get some feedback.

A bit of back story on this track: A few months ago Major Lazer did a remix contest with a couple of their tunes, including my favorite, "Pon De Floor." I was very happy to see this, but then I noticed that I had already missed the deadline to submit... and thus became rather miffed. 


  
  Later that same day I saw that beatport was hosting a remix contest for a Tiesto song... Now Tiesto is, as one might expect from listening to my music, not normally my cup of tea. But I figured, rather than stewing in my frustration for missing the chance to remix "Pon De Floor", why not channel that frustration into something positive... by attacking this Tiesto track.

Hello! It's been a while. Omega is no more, but I'm leaving all the old tunes up because lots of you still listen to them all the time, for which I'm endlessly grateful. Hopefully the name change doesn't throw anybody off, it's still me (Chris). I've just evolved a lot in my production and artistic vision, and after such a long break from releasing stuff it didn't make sense to come back with the old alias, and so Acharya is born.

This is a mini mix of tunes I'll be releasing over the next several months, but I wanted to give everyone a preview to go along with the rebrand.
