JD Remains faithful to the original feeling of Classic & Acid House Music within all heart and dedication to preserve this magic sound. Working professionally on the dance-floors and big festivals since 1994, original productions and remixes sound like Acid, Classic, Chicago & Deep House with Retro Funk ingredients. Based on the north coast of Portugal, this producer, remixer and lyricist is also a Live performer on a dj set format using high quality vocals on the fly. Big events like Monegros Desert Festival (Zaragoza - Aragon) in Spain 2006-07 editions and hosting Rock In Rio - Lisbon 2008-10-12 @ Electronic Area, are some examples of high standard as a Master of Ceremonies. The first drop from this release brings a powerful smooth Acid House crate with a remarkable 303 banging with a tight kick using a short vocal take pulling the strings to make you Jack, pulsed by deep pads and hypnotic musical textures setting up a tasty pace. Acid88 broadcasts the WPA005 experience, turning up the bass straight from Northampton with two original tracks using an old feel for kick spicing. The main track 'ACID HOUSE CORRESPONDENT' tells a true story about the controversial times back in the late 80s when Acid House was banned from the UK sound-tracked by a awesome TB303 and surprising Hip Hop loop blows every now and then. Acid Driver appears with a balanced retweaked interpretation aimed for dance floor Jackers. The 2nd original motion picture 'MANDATORY BOWTIE' brings up a huge melting pot of influences in perfect harmony, conquering experienced listeners by tweaking supper cool melodies all over the place heavily influenced by the Rave scene and Hip-Hop drops. Going to Raves since the early age of 15, Acid88 started releasing 303 soaked acid tracks inspired by the likes of Luke Vibert, Ceephax Acid Crew, Aphex Twin and the original acid sound of 1988, plus a bit of everything. So far most of his work has been based inside the D.A.W but more recently started building up his collection of hardware synths and drum machines to take music out there and play live.

We Play Acid, tale 006 introduces Leandro Silva in a super unexpected format, thru Acid House fields probably never seen before, never heard before from this DJ and producer who's an unavoidable reference of Electronic Music in Angola. Debutant in 1997, professional DJ since 2001. It's true that there's not many cities in Southern Africa like Luanda, his hometown. With dozens of existent micro-cosmos it turns out to be a fertile field for many people, away from those emblematic cities like London, Tokyo, Berlin, New York, Chicago, Detroit, Barcelona, Hong-Kong, Viena or Lisbon. Leandro is the paradigm that, regardless of this context, looks for and values success with a strong belief that always comes from our own hard work and strong dedication, putting together magnetic and environmental dj sets, Leandro is a Deep master constructor delivering high quality original material. This EP was inspired by a 505 and a 303. Leandro got his ass kicked by those legendary boxes and made it happen from those bruises. Hung up Acid Driver with 'LEVELS CONTROL' and smacked him on both hears with a 505 extremely raw kick. Immediately got this track remixed frenetically in a nonstop straight up Chicago Cowboy Jack the floor style, to heal the 303 wounds because of a beautiful reverb placement in the original peace. Two more tracks by Leandro Silva came out of this mighty voluntary junction from 505 and the 303. 'ESFERA' and 'LIGHTER'. The last one was teamed up with Kulas, an hardware skilled programer, one of Luanda's finest electronic artists, using hardware to perform live on his own. This special delivery from Southampton UK, takes WPA009 to the surface. LONG LIVE ALL THINGS ACID VOL.1 introduces the man behind the machine. Nicholas Edwards is THE FOOT TAPPER. Having partied in the Acid/ Drum/ Bass/ Hip House era of the 80s, uses these sounds and combines them with all the textures that sparked his soul and spirit when growing up as a kid in London on a magic time frame where everyone lived and breathed for House Music. Having had hardly any experience with Computers or Music Software, he went on to teach himself how to produce and create sounds that have the ability to connect with brain cortexes and transmit these feelings in a reliable and faithful way. All tracks created have elements of the acid sound and beats using Roland drum machines. Listening to the Acid sound made by the great producers of that time, influenced him to make music and carry on the legacy of this great sound ensuring it is never forgotten. TAKE ME TO LONDON reinforces this statement with a vintage old-school sound that sounds more like a TESLA machine driving you to this city in the exact mid 80s. Acid Driver pushes a bit further this idea, with a Retweaked interpretation. This statement, this release is accompanied by two other original productions. THE LIAR (ORIGINAL MIX), one of those steady tracks that repeats itself, reinforcing its vibration throughout the floor, keeping things tight until the next track sneaks in to blow up the audience. Another interpretation from Mr BC, (a skilled producer based in Edinburgh), adds a magical depth that makes you fly high, as only he can do and, READ MY LIPS is the great surprise from this release. The Acid component is still there blowing our minds with bassie textures, voices and special effects, making the swing with constant break-beats over a clean and bright kick.

WPA013 makes you listen outside the box and it’s a big lesson for our ears. Chicago House, Acid, Detroit Techno, Disco, Funk, Jazz, Blues, and Rare Grooves are the inspiration behind this sound. Brought to you by ENDICOT HOUSE from the south side of Chicago. This amazing Low Profile artist grew up at a time in the late 80’s when House music was the dominating sound in the city. By the mid 90’s that sound began to fade from popularity and Mr. Endicot decided to go deeper to investigate and study the roots of the music which led him back to Disco and Rare Grooves. That is from where EH influences come from. He ́s been here for long, dj’ed and produced tracks for too many years to count. Everything that he does is self taught, opting for the low-tech side because it is much closer to the roots of the music. He also prefers the shadows and the background. “The music is the forefront, not me” - says Endicot. This genuine release turns up the switch to unfold a multicolored sound reality extremely raw, but yet sonically advanced with 3 mighty and distinct original tracks. Ciaran Byrne is influenced by early 80s Electro and Hip Hop as well as the Acid House revolution and the machines that caused it. In these early records, you can clearly hear a drum machine and a synth or two clunking along and you can probably even identify them if your a geek like Ciaran. Born in West Belfast in the early 70’s, around 2001 relocated to Devon, England where he now lives . These days Mr Byrne is busy in the studio writing Acid, Techno, Electro and Acid House music, fusing old school sounds with modern production techniques, keeping his vintage synths and drum machines in great shape. Computing since the first home computers became available, Sinclair ZX81, then the ZX Spectrum playing games and programming, this is where Ciaran was first exposed to electronic sounds and the concept of computer control. When Electro and Hip Hop arrived in 1982 it spoke volumes to Ciaran creating music with these machines, futuristic sounds, robotic voices and kids spinning on linoleum seemed like a different world to the war torn streets of West Belfast, it was pure escapism. We decided to bring back his vocalized Magic debut release by We Play Acid NEXT LEVEL and managed to join Mr BC, ACCIDENTAL MELODY, MORIZIO and ACID DRIVER for re-working methods to embrace the Main version with JUDITH CARSON´s lovely artwork. Its about time to: Let the music take control!
