It's quite apt that Acid Mondays are joining One Records for their 5th birthday celebrations this Saturday as their founding year, 2009, is significant for both parties. While Subb-an and Adam Shelton released their first cut on their once fledgling imprint that year, Acid Mondays had their first production cut to wax and released on Ralph Lawson's 2020 Vision imprint. They've since gone onto maintain a steady release schedule and finding home on the label in question, One Records. With their Schlurptastic 12" in 2014 fulfilling the label’s sound of raw edged, driving house cuts. What they do so well across all their releases is find a psychedelic space in the groove. something they express perfectly in this exclusive mix that the pair have put together for us ahead of their DJ set this coming Saturday night...

Expect altered states of hallucinogenic house and reality bending techno. It would be a cliché to say they have a great future, but they’ve been there and beyond and have returned to the NOW to do it all again…

They recently put out a string of exciting releases on labels such as Warp, Rockets & Ponies, ONE Records, & Last Night On Earth. They were also asked to remix Lakker’s ‘Milch’ for the legendary R&S Records. That and their remixes of Mood 2 Swing on King Street received big support all summer from Marco Carola, Seth Troxler, The Martinez Bros, George Fitzgerald, & D’julz to name a few. As well as appearing on Boiler Room and guesting on B.Traits show on BBC Radio 1 they’re also playing at parties around the globe such as BPM Festival, Fabric, Tenax, Warehouse Project, Elrow and Circoloco at DC10.

Forthcoming releases include EPs and Remixes for Circus Recordings, Rumours and Hotflush Recordings, but first, Acid Mondays provide 60 minutes of hypnotic, hallucinatory house music to get you over the hump.

Acid Mondays release "Garaldo" EP including John Dimas Remix is out on Vinyl 28/02.

Absolutely buzzing to be able to share the recording from our set at Burning Man 2017! It was our first Burn and also our first time on the Robot Heart bus so being involved in the 10 year anniversary was a big honour which we’re really grateful for. We got to play as the bus drove out from base camp into Deep Playa and seeing all those people riding alongside on their bikes while we played was truly unique and memorable. Big thanks to all the Robot Heart team and everyone who was there for co-creating such a special experience. See you in 2018!!
