We are pleased to welcome Mensae, brand new project of a really well-knowed lyon based dj, Acid Soda. He no needs for a huge presentation as he’s been seen in all biggest festivals in Lyon and around for over 10 years now. All that bring him to play also in Berlin or Barcelona, to name a few. Under his new nickname, he comes back to his roots in a more industrial techno way, mixing it with trippy acid sound and futuristic psychedelik approach. Acid Soda turned into Mensae, an apocalyptik galaxy where the darkness and loudness are the master. Fast your seatbelt, put your sunglasses on and let him take you on a trip.

Nous sommes ravis d’accueillir Mensae, tout nouveau projet d’un dj bien connu des lyonnais, Acid Soda. Il n’est pas nécessaire de faire une grosse présentation tant il a tourné dans tous les gros festivals de la région depuis maintenant plus de 10 ans. Tout cela l’a aussi amené à jouer à Berlin ou Barcelone, entres autres. Sous son nouveau pseudo, il retourne à ses racines qui sont une techno industrielle teinté de sons acid, trippant et psychédéliques le tout avec un esprit futurist. Acid Soda s’est transformée en Mensae, une galaxie ou reignent la noirceur et la lourdeur. Attachez vos ceintures, mettez vos lunettes et laissez le vous emmener en voyage.

Following the rapturous reception of his first club-centric EP for Turbo, as well as remixes for Santigold and the forthcoming AlunaGeorge single, UK superproducer Duke Dumont returns to tighten his stranglehold on the worldwide nightgeist with FOR CLUB PLAY ONLY VOL. 2, this time training his sights on the Vocal Anthem heavyweight title.

A-side "No Money Blues" brings UK bass and deep house into the realm of crossover pop, while "The Giver" is an ecstatic vocal house anthem that would fit seamlessly alongside the most uplifting MURK classics. These are probably the two most "feel-good" tracks we will put out all year, but the impeccable level of quality actually lets you "feel good" about "feeling good."

This EP positions Dumont as the versatile international hitmaker we know him to be, establishing a globe-spanning Dukedom to unite us all.

Yannis Becker, one of the greatest artists in Lyon’s electronic scene, unveiled his “Acid Soda” project in 2007. This project is the result of a long period of musical work combined with an unconditional love for electronic music, especially techno music, which he has spearheaded for over twenty years now.
We could spend a very long time listing all the clubs and festivals where he has shared his passion with fervor, as well as the many artists with whom he has worked.
Acid Soda, through his solo projects and collaborations with artists like COMPASS or Pedro Bucarelli, has forged a strong musical identity for himself : a mental, acidifying techno groove, sometimes flirting with a degree of melancholy. His different releases between 2007 and 2013 on labels LCR Records, Amazone Records, and even Elektro System Records, proudly represent this style.
For him, 2019 will see a return to production and many are impatiently awaiting his next EP, which will be released in the next few months on the Mélopée Records label. Stay tuned!

Artiste incontournable de la scène électronique lyonnaise, c’est en 2007 que Yannis Becker dévoile son projet « Acid Soda ». L’aboutissement d’un long travail musical et d’un amour inconditionnel pour la musique électronique, tout particulièrement la musique techno qui reste son fer de lance depuis près de 20 ans maintenant.
Enumérer les clubs et les festivals ou il a pu partagé sa passion avec ardeur ainsi que les artistes qu’il a pu côtoyé serait un travail fastidieux tant il y en a.
Acid Soda, au travers de ses projets solos et de ses collaborations avec des artistes comme COMPASS ou Pedro Bucarelli, a su se forger une véritable identité musicale : une techno groove mentale acidifiante, flirtant parfois avec une certaine mélancolie. Ses différentes sorties entre 2007 et 2013 sur les labels LCR Records, Amazone records ou encore Elektro System records en représentent fièrement la couleur.
2019 signe pour lui un retour à la production et c’est avec un engouement certain que beaucoup attendent avec impatience son prochain EP qui verra le jour d’ici quelques mois sur le label Mélopée Records.
