Acid42 - Plucked From The Sand Of Time

Taken from my free EP "Downtampuhan" (QED RECORDS, http://qedrecords.wordpress.com/2004/10/10/qd-4209-acid42-downtampuhan/ ) , this is an anthemic downtempo track which is built around orchestral string sections and rhythm.

The Corpus Luteum is the yellow tissue that forms in the ovary of a female mammal after ovulation. If fertilization does not occur, the corpus luteum degenerates. This song is dedicated to my friends who have tried to bear children and who have lost these children from miscarriages.

A moving tribute to marriage and love. Vocals by Cholo Mallillin. Lyrics, music and production by Acid42 (Lionel Valdellon). The song was commissioned by Mon Guinto for the birthday of his wife Karen in 2004.

I felt like doing a remix, but Cocolulu (now known as SPAZZKID) lost his assembly files and only had the final MP3 of the song. So, I built up his track from scratch using Reason, and played with the sounds a bit, and then sent the file to him. Cocolulu added on to it some more and moved sections around. I got the file back and added a few more touches.
