Berlin-based Ukrainian DJ and producer MIURA steps up for the next Lobster Theremin mix with an hour of groove-heavy house, acid and groove-heavy old school sounds.

Having worked as creative director and booker for the Kyiv venue duo Vognyk Bar/Arsenal XXII, MIURA transposed her life to Berlin following the devastating Russian invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.

Now working on music full time, and with a scintillating HÖR radio set under her belt, here she presents the essence and beauty of her sound as a selector and DJ. A one hour expression of pure love and a story of inner feelings.

Bjeor is a Leuven-born, Brussels-based, house-minded deejay. Steadily paving his way during the past ten years, Bjeor conquered the Belgian electronic music scene inch by inch, setting numerous dj booths and dancefloors on fire during so. Some highlights: various appearances at Horst, his Boiler Room debut in Brussels, an everlasting after-hours trip in Helsinki and peak time slots in Paris and Lille. Juggling with slow gems, forgotten hits and future classics, Bjeor's got a trick up in every sleeve. He's also a co-founder of pop-up nightclub 'nacht' in STELPLAATS (Leuven). Bjeor prefers to steer clear of the cameras but for Kiosk Radio, he's glad to make an exception.

"Chaotic cohesion" is how LORA describes her sound. And that's something we love here at R$N HQ. Borderless electronic selections, a few twists and turns, hands in the air moments... Catch one of the London-based DJ and promoter's sets and you'll get plenty of that.

LORA's pathway into DJing came via her residency for longstanding hip hop night Livin' Proof, which led her to promote her own parties. For a few years she helmed Grapefruit and Nice One, two parties that gave her autonomy on sound and curation, and welcomed artists like Violet, LSDXOXO, Afrodeutsche and Shygirl.

This experience as both a curator and resident, as well as her monthly residency on Balamii Radio in South London, has played a part in her broad approach to selection, which can see her moving from warm, deep grooves to classic old school house, shuffling UKG and euphoric breaks.

Ahead of her launching her brand new party Floorjam, which will see her bringing the likes of Raji Rags and Arianne V to Peckham's Carpet Shop, she treats us to a mix of dusty house cuts and rolling vocal grooves with a few classic cuts thrown in for good measure.

Geordie Elliot-Kerr aka Shedbug is one of the founders of Salt Mines label, the guy whose track Sibelle drew a lot of attention back in 2019 and with a reason too. He’s been releasing music on labels such as: Of Paradise, Flux, Deeptrax Records, 1Ø PILLS MATE, and Lobster Theremin. Definitely one of the most talented producers/DJ’s coming from the “land down under”.
