There has been a revival of acid & oldskool sounds in the deep/tech house scene so I thought I would do a mix based on these influences - a blend of current sounds & late 80s/early 90s flavours.

Hibernation is inspired by the season and the feeling of being inside when it is cold outside. When it comes to making music, I find myself wanting to leave the creative space less and less when the weather gets cold. I’m sure I’m not alone, so whatever you choose to do with your time of hibernation for the remainder of the winter, I hope this EP becomes a part of your soundtrack.

Ravers! Hot on the heels of our September party announcement, we’ve got some big news with the label to tie into it! In celebration of Karlton Phillips, Mr P, and Kaylah’s Japan debut, we are very excited to announce that HNH015 - The Homecoming mini-album will be out on Friday 9th September!

Featuring 3 tracks each from Karlton Phillips, Mr P and Kaylah, which serves as a tidy survey of the current sounds of the UK tech underground, and in a nutshell sums up what House Not House are all about.

From Karlton we’ve got the long-awaited trill-tech anthem ‘Girls U Like’ (watch for the second drop, jeeeze!), the bubbly roots reggae, garage house  and UK tech hybrid of ‘This Poem’, and the slinky tech house grooves of ‘Papi’.

Mr P starts things off and shuts things down with the seriously spooky, dark and dangerous ‘Afraid 2 Die’, then he takes things back to the old skool with his ’89 inspired ‘ardkore ‘ouse cut ‘Attitude’ and finishes with the deeply psychedelic, synesthetic and experimental LSD’.

Finally Kaylah comes in hard with the chest-rattling, floor shaking, earth-quaking bass heavy banger that is ‘Something’. He then totally switches it up with ‘Trendsettah’, that fuses jungle, grime and tech-house for something that sounds like nothing on this planet, and then closing out the album with the strange, sludgy and subterranean sounds of ‘Let Go’.

Nine tracks, nine vibez, and three artists you need to know! Cop the sounds on Friday the 9th Sep, then catch them live at Circus Tokyo on Saturday the 10th! Do not sleep!

レーバーの皆様、HNHの次のイベント（９月１０日）情報を公開したばかりですが、また大事なお知らせがあります！

HNHの初期からリリースしているKarlton Phillips・Mr. P・Kaylahの日本デビューを記念すべく、三人から三曲ずつを集め「The Homecoming」ミニアルバムをイベントの前日(９月９日)にリリース致します。イギリスのアンダーグラウンドハウスシーンを網羅しつつ、House Not Houseのビジョンを代表する９曲です。

Karlton Phillipsからは、トラップとハウスの異種の要素を巧妙に織り交ぜた「Girls U Like」、ルーツレゲェの魂をGarage Houseのテンプレートに溶け込ませた「This Poem」とセクシーなテックアンセム「Papi」。

Mr Pからは、悪気のこもったダークサイドハウス「Afraid 2 Die」、‘89年風アシッドハウスをアップデートした「Attitude」とダンスフロア―を沸かせるサイケデリックなBanger、「LSD」。

Kaylahからは、震度8でダンスフロアを揺らせる「Something」、ジャングル・グライムを混ぜた雑種ハウス「Trendsettah」と、圧倒的に重い最先端ハウス「Let Go」。

イギリスのアンダーグランドフォローしている皆様には、要チェックなアーティスト3人、必聴な9曲。

そして9月10日は三人とも東京・渋谷Circusにて出演しますので、ぜひ生でも体験してほしい。
