Schlafen macht gesund & schön

Ein ausgewogenes und gesundes Schlafverhalten ist für den Menschen essenziell. Beim schlafen kann sich der Körper optimal regenerieren, doch auch Geist und Seele kommen auf ihre Kosten. Physiologische Heilungsprozesse funktionieren schlafend am besten. Welchen Stellenwert Schlaf für unsere Lebensqualität besitzt, merkt man häufig erst dann, wenn man zu wenig von ihm bekommt. Die meisten wissenschaftlichen Untersuchungen postulieren, dass der Mensch 7-8 Stunden Schlaf täglich benötigt. Die optimale Schlafdauer eines Individuums kann selbstverständlich nicht über eine allgemeine Faustregel bestimmt werden. Sie ist abhängig vom Alter, Wohnort, körperlicher und geistiger Bestätigung, sowie den individuellen Präferenzen in der Lebensgestaltung. In unserer modernen, hektischen und schnelllebigen Welt gerät die Wichtigkeit der Nachtruhe gerne einmal in den Hintergrund oder ganz in Vergessenheit. Der Tag mit seinen 24 Stunden erscheint allzu oft, zu kurz. Neben der Arbeit, Schule oder dem Studium wollen soziale Kontakte gepflegt, Hobbys ausgelebt und Zeit für sich, die Familie und Freunde gefunden werden. Auf den ersten Blick lässt sich Schlafenszeit am unkompliziertesten einsparen. Jedoch wird zu wenig schlaf auf Dauer, alle anderen Bereiche des Lebens negativ beeinflussen. Wieder einmal gilt es die Balance zu finden. Denn langfristig ist die Wachzeit, ohne ausreichend Schlaf nicht erstrebens- und erlebenswert. 

Maria Theresia von Eberg hat neben ihrem wunderschönen Namen, auch einen fabelhaften Musikgeschmack. Ein untypisches Weihnachtsfest

Die Weihnachtszeit hat heute ihren Höhepunkt erreicht. Das Fest ist in diesem Jahr definitiv ganz anders, als es sonst so war. Der Kreis wird auf die engsten Familienmitglieder beschränkt und innerhalb der heimischen Vierwände, sich beschenkt. So manche Tradition wird diese Weihnachten gebrochen, so haben die Kirchen und Gebetshäuser kollektiv geschlossen. Vieles läuft an diesem Heiligabend ungewöhnlich ab, doch so manches bleibt auch altvertraut. Geschenke laden unterm Baum, und auf den Weihnachtsumtrunk verzichten die Meisten, wohl kaum. Es wird gut gegessen und viel gelacht, irgendwie wird aus eigenartig, dann doch passend gemacht. Man nennt Weihnachten nicht umsonst Zeit der Besinnlichkeit, also lasst uns dankbar sein für Familie, Freunde, Wohlstand und Gesundheit.

Der heutige Podcast ist eine Weihnachts-Spezialausgabe bereitgestellt und gemixt von Käpt‘n 12 & Düsentrieb. Damit Euch in den Feiertagen nicht der akustische Sprit ausgeht, läuft die 185 satte 4 Stunden und 12 Minuten lang. Ein roter Faden schlängelt sich unverkennbar von Track zu Track. Born to a dutch club owner and music aficionado, ACID FLORA‘s artistic journey has been charted at birth. From a simple 90’s tape deck all the way through to today’s vast and enchanting acoustic landscape, the young Swiss talent has devoted herself to finding and sculpting a signature sound that speaks to hearts and hips alike. With a raunchy touch of nonchalance she weaves heartfelt emotions with unapologetic ecstasy, oscillating between self-awareness and daring provocation. Driven by honesty and expression through music, ACID FLORA creates miraculous spaces in which the exploration of the self is not only allowed, but encouraged. With implicit authenticity, she invites people to let go of all conventions and immerse themselves in music. She does this by opening up herself to the people in the crowd and connecting with them in an intimate dialogue that inspires and fuels her musical selection. 

Following her first booking back in 2015, ACID FLORA has been a staple at Berlin’s magnificent Kater Blau with appearances at prestigious events like the Bar 25 weekender and Kater-resident Mira’s Birthday in November ‘22. On top she’s played two shows in Brazil during the famous carnival and shortly after secured her debut in New York with ZERO followed by her debut in Lisbon at Maga’s event series ,,Stories’’. ACID FLORA’s residency at Zürich’s world-renowned Hive Club has made her delivering distinctive vibes to some of the most distinguished dancefloors in Europe.

Her very first release came out on Oliver Koletzki’s ,,A Tribe Called Kotori’’ in september 2023.

Clearly, this woman is on a ride that is bound to get a whole lot wilder in the not so distant future.
