The Acid Grandad's have always loved all four tracks on the Pfantasia/Phortune 12" on Hot Mix 5, which is why we wanted to use them all in our recent DJ Pierre tribute mix. The only problem is that, although they are great tunes in their own right, both 'I'm Feeling Good' and 'You Wanna Party' had pitched up, helium-style vocals that somewhat detract from greatness of the rest of the track (in our humble opinion).

So, we were rather cheeky and removed the bits we didn't like to give two new re-edits, hopefully making both tracks more playable, yet sticking closely to their original feel. 'I'm feeling good' is transformed into an instrumental, who's driving bassline in reminiscent of Laidback's 'White Horse', before the track breaks down into a lovely, shimmering synth line. 'You Wanna Party' becomes a brooding, vocal driven monster of a track, with a disorienting acid breakdown in the middle. Sing along now children, you know the words "THUNDER, falling from the skies....."
