Hi, it’s been about 5 or 6 years since I last posted a vinyl only mix.

With all the things going on in the world, it somehow felt like there was not much place left for music. Yet, I missed the fact that music is meant to bring people together, bring joy, and keep us sane.

Let me take you on a little sonic collage journey of the latest additions to my collection, with a few older favorites snuck in. 🌀💿

Vinyl Mix December 2025

Similar to hypnosis or even magic, this podcast was born in the mountains of the Bakhchisaray district, in the gorge of Cerkez Kermen, where @of_naya played 3-hours long set for mountains, wind and land and realized that the music is great for the cult kitchen. You can say that it has the power of nature, that powerfully resonated in the gorge at that moment.

Whatever words @of_naya сan use to describe the music she plays, her preference is given to the quiet listening instead of wordy stories. She considers music a part of herself, sounds – separately living units in endless audio flow through fragile needles of vinyl turntables.

The first autumn POOLcast of the year comes from our good friend Tomash GHz, who has been with us for several years. As a technician, DJ and modular enthusiast he has no choice but to run into us or maybe it was the other way around. Nevertheless, the question arises why he is only now appearing on POOLcast.

For his pieces Tomash used field recordings, contact microphones, electromagnetic pickups, guitar pedals, bows, found objects and modular synthesizers. Most of this collection of experimental ambient drone music was recorded late at night in a state of self-hypnosis. This period of time in which the mind loses its routines, the comprehensible is replaced by uncontrolled fantasy, and we realize that there exists a realm that offers seemingly limitless possibilities if we only engage in it. Tomash's POOLcast is, so to speak, a travelogue of his tours of the last five years through this sphere. Probably one of the reasons why we can only enjoy Tomash's contribution now.

Descending into the photon sphere, where gravity is so strong that only light can travel in circular orbits. The black hole's enormous gravity bends light and drags space along with it.
You look down into the vast emptiness, no light emitted from below can ever reach you. The sky you once knew is now behind you and as you circle the black hole, it appears to move in strange ways.

Still below is the event horizon. Where all paths are warped so as to fall further into the hole. Once inside the horizon, moving into the hole is as inevitable as moving forward in time. A distant observer will never actually see you reach the horizon. Instead, while approaching the hole, you will seem to go ever more slowly, almost freezing in time. Nobody really knows what it looks like inside a black hole.

Dedicated to the deeply missed Natalie Christopher and Raffaele D'Ascanio.

Warm bass lines, self oscillating filters, morphing ambiences and glitchy percussions, all designed using modular synthesizers. This sample pack contains 71 one-shot samples and 109 loops recorded in 24bit 44.1KHz WAV format.

His sounds are influenced by hypnotic minimalism, deep bass lines, travelling atmospheres and broken beats, regardless of genres; his musical ideas emerged through labels such as Soul.on, Handcrafted, Melotherapy, DubGestion and Capodopere besides others.
