Michael, known by his stage name Acidrop, has been a Dubstep and Drum and Bass music DJ and producer since 2017. His journey into electronic music began at a young age, nurturing a passion that led him to join the renowned "The Way Too Loud Crew" in 2018, marking the beginning of a promising career.

Originally from the dense mountains of British Columbia, Acidrop is now based in the flatlands of Central Alberta. His music is characterized by enthusiastic, heavy bass-lines and deep, energetic sounds. With a keen ear for detail and a passion for pushing boundaries—such as melding together drops and blending in the hottest vocals on the billboards—Acidrop's DJ sets are a journey through Drum and Bass and Dubstep, often influenced by Hybrid Trap sounds. He is known for showcasing the finest selections from his huge & extensive, genre-spanning record collection.

Beyond his DJ work, Acidrop helps run The Way Too Loud Crew alongside his family, Chase Bankz and DJ Mama Panda. Having founded his DJ roots with the crew, Acidrop is well-acquainted with the Canadian music scene. Now based in Red Deer, Alberta, he has taken shelter with RAVEreddeer, a crew with whom he helps host the hottest events in the city. From hosting numerous events across British Columbia and Alberta to playing at the biggest parties, Acidrop's influence is felt wherever he goes.

Acidrop has shared the stage with acts such as Pineo & Loeb, Kermode, Stylust, Kimati, Leo Zen, Inc.Line, Stickybuds, Phibes, and Handsome Tiger. He has played at festivals including Deadman's, Wubs In The Woods, Weekend Renegade, and Creation Music Festival, to name a few.
