Roy Abramovitz, also known as Oogi, I’m 24 from Rishon LeZion, and I’ve been addicted to music for as long as I can remember. I grew up on rock ‘n’ roll and classical music, and later discovered electronic music—especially trance. Although I drifted away from it during my army service, I reconnected deeply during a long post-army trip. Since then, I’ve gained tons of knowledge, met incredible people, and now I manage Krembo Records, with some exciting releases coming soon.

My upcoming set is very close to my heart – slower in tempo but rich in melody, ranging from 132 to 140 BPM and finishing with a powerful edit of a Masaray track at 145 BPM. What’s next for me on the radio? Who knows – but one thing’s for sure: it’s going to blow your mind!

For me, an opening set is the foundation and the basics, a calm pulse and a beginning that sets the tone for everything that will follow.
An opening done at the right pace requires patience and restraint, not to jump too quickly into a fast rhythm, but to gently and carefully ease the mind into a state of deep listening to the language that music speaks, where the body and soul fully surrender to it.

Of course, there's also the musical story - one that is always different, depending on the vision of the event and the personal journey I’ve gone through leading up to it.

This story has a ceremonial-tribalistic vibes, made for a special gathering.

Eddie started in 1985 when he became the resident DJ at his hometown club, the Penguin. It was the first industrial-electronic-new wave club in Tel Aviv. At the same time, he began producing and performing electronic Avantgarde music. In '88 he discovered acid house which opened his mind to dance beats and to the Pychedelic acid house productions.

After performing as a DJ for several years, he began to release his own music worldwide in '93. It was well received and was hot on the German techno charts. At his parties, he introduced his new music which later became known as Israeli psychedelic trance, opening the gateway to a whole new genre. In '97, after several albums and compilations, Eddie received huge international success with his track "X-file".

As you can hear in his new music @ Acix Recordings, Eddie's quest is to explore dimensions of musical expression and bring to his audiences spirituality through music.
