"Never Be the Same" explains the changes that took place since their last tape, and how life seemingly will not be the same after this tape. Enjoy the lit side of this album with songs like "Backstreets" and  "Chills", yet be reminded of the darker side of changing through songs like "I Remember" and "Replay". "Never Be the Same" encompasses all aspects of change including break-ups, graduation, moving, and maturing, and exemplifies, through both melody and lyrics, just how these changes can be felt both emotionally and physically.
