The latest release on Madloch's Crossfade Sounds welcomes Argentine artist Nico Cassou for his label debut with the Spoken Words EP. Based in Buenos Aires, Nico first appeared in 2013 on sister label 3rd Avenue's We Are the Future (Fall 2013) compilation, before stepping away from production for nearly a decade. Now, after a long hiatus, he returns with his first solo EP, marking a fresh chapter in his career.

Featuring five originals — Momentary, Electric Vortex, Eco N' Deep, Little Dub, and Spoken Words — the collection explores a refined crossover between dub and deep techno, rich in hypnotic grooves and immersive textures. A confident return, Spoken Words EP signals Nico Cassou's re-entry into the scene with a sound that feels both matured and forward-looking.

Saved Records return to their various artists’ samplers with Collection E. This twelve track stack of original music features the likes of Noir, Okain, Chicco Secci, James Organ and Javi Row in what is the series’ most distinctive and underground collection yet.

Its diverse but energetic soundscape across the twelve tracks provides a succinct snapshot of the label’s ethos in 2015. Combining a consummate blend of young, emerging talent and already established names, Collection E engages with markedly different tempos, tones and textures from track to track. From the dark, driving attitude of Julien Sandre’s “Beside Me” to the crunchy, rhythmic energy of “It’s Just A Groove” by Sean Miller, the deep, rolling party vibes of Sergio Fernandez’s “Kuery,” the dubby, drum machine-heavy stylings of Daniel Dubb & m.O.N.R.O.E.’s “Colors”, the old school house flavours of “Wax Trax” by Romano Alfieri & Alli Borem and the jazz influenced techno of Javi Row’s wonderfully idiosyncratic “Fifty Seven,” Collection E boasts a deliciously varied and quality-filled palette.

THE CONCEPT BEHIND POLYMATH:

Every artist has their own perspective, imagination, style and inspirations. They share this with the world through their creations and performances, their own musical concepts. Each concept is unique, as is every performance.

Polymath can be defined as ‘many talents’. The Polymath concept will ask different artists to create pieces inspired by their perception of a singular theme. This concept gives artists the freedom to share their own visions on a given notion, to push and stretch their boundaries of creativity, and to present inspired tracks and artwork.

Each Polymath release is an experiment. It will include three different artists’ pieces inspired by the same theme. This is tied together with ornate artwork to complete the bespoke showpiece.

"Marc DePulse - Devotion" has been released on Polymath alongside the interpretations from Rafael Cerato and Mattia Pompeo.

After the astounding success of the first release on Reinier Zonneveld's imprint Filth on Acid, the label follows up with a slightly deeper take on club music. We welcome Mees Salomé, who managed to deliver a unique, balanced blend of breathtaking melodies and grooves. Mees Salomé comes from The Netherlands, and manages to deliver extra-ordinary music while only being 21 years old. 

Equivalence EP kicks off with the title track. Equivalence opens with a sturdy kick and dirty hi-hat, anticipating the mesmerizing melody. Combined with the long break and subtle arrangement this track makes for a very heavy hitter on the dancefloor. Next up is Ignorance Is Bliss. Piercing synthlines and morph into rhythmic arpeggiated progressions while continuously driven by a growling bassline. This track really shows of Mees Salomé's talent for balancing out harmony and dissonance. Followed by Reinier Zonneveld's remix for Forest Fire, which turns the original into a heavy no-nonsense peak-time techno banger with fat kicks and big drums, while leaving the powerful synth brass into place leading the way into a big climax. Forest Fire original stands out by the way all the sounds work together, morphing and interchanging in a very organic way. The brass synth makes this track perfect for melodic peak-time affairs. For the conclusion of this EP we're happy to announce Julian Wassermann, who scored many hits on labels like Stil vor Talent & Katermukke with his signature deeper style of tech-house and deep-house. He takes Equivalence into a more hypnotic direction, using an almost talking drum groove. By introducing strong dissonance between the original synthline and his own added pads, tension builds up to new levels which makes the track very effective for after-party brain melting.

Mees Salomé - Ignorance Is Bliss (Original Mix)

Stan Kolev returns to Outta Limits once again with the impressive Sensations/Echoes EP. Based in Miami Beach he remains undoubtedly one of the most productive electronic music producers under the spotlight. Both tracks are wonderfully crafted. Deep and grooving progressive cuts filled with solid beats and rhythmic percussions alongside a droning basses pads as dark synths and melodic arpeggios make their way through, taking us deeper and deeper into bliss. Subtle melodies are found in the synths while beautifully crafted pads create colourful textures.  A hugely impressive EP that is most definitely not to be missed.

It builds in intensity and long tailed pads bring a dreamy, mysterious vibe to the label.

After a resoundingly successful first pack of Collecti remixes, Sharam is back with the second installment, and this time it's a Swiss double-header. First up is Zürich-based Animal Trainer, known for their deep and melodic take on techno, who reworked Sharam's 'Napoli' into an entirely new beast. The guys lifted the original's catchy acid riff and wove it into a complex tapestry of beautiful and ethereal melodies. Swirling synth leads and lush pads create a sonic atmosphere that transports listeners to another dimension, one where beauty and darkness coexist peacefully.

Premiere: Sharam "Napoli" (Animal Trainer Remix) - Yoshitoshi

'It is a new year and Heinz Music is ready to set it off with a bang! Daniel Jaeger is a familiar face to the family and especially loved for his skillful molding of synths. Together with the young and talented Raphael Hofman he has set out on a deep and mysterious journey, resulting in their "Lost Unit" EP. The title track already sets the tone, and a dark and ominous bassline leads the way towards a soundscape of stabbing and atmospheric synths culminating in a powerful break. Secondly, "Kids On A Riot" continues with a flaring groove and massively pulsating bassline. It is a kind of euphoria hidden in the melody, just eagerly waiting to create some frenzy on the dance floor. Daniel and Raphael's third original track, "Generation Change", funks it up a bit. A tight and bouncy drum work sets the scene, introducing mysterious melodic elements and chords, underlining the silky vocals.'
