After TWO WHOLE YEARS, finally a new song! Lots of changes have happened, and hopefully this track will be able to showcase the slightly harder and heavier edge to Acoustic Kult's new music.

The lyrics of this song are about a foolish young man from California, who went on a rampage that ended the lives of several innocent kids. The reason for his violent outburst? Lack of attention from the opposite sex. Perhaps you've never heard of Elliott Rodger or maybe you've just forgotten about him and the kids he killed, but I found it extremely difficult to digest the fact that someone of my age could do something so drastic, something so evil. And at the end of the day, his insecurities weren't exactly novel and unheard of; every young adult experiences such doubts and fears but it's truly unfortunate that things ended the way they did for him and for his victims.

'Twisted' (reference to the shooter's online manifesto, titled 'My Twisted World') attempts to understand the psyche of not just Rodger, but of anyone who feels alienated and insecure and wishes to lash out at others.
