When I was a kid, I saw my elders go about their tasks
So I learnt to slit a weeping child's throat when I wanted it to be quiet
And then grew young and learnt to slaughter millions to feed my greed

Barren land... And I'm dying of the subsequent epidemics

I am man, most of us I devastated to seize their rights

Pitiable worthless creatures!

That's human nature we say,
we love them only till they conform
and eliminate the ones with a difference

We've always stampeded to attain our obsessions
And now we sit on what we have conquered
Where there are more graves than garden patches
and there is more alien blood than your own sweat on your face

Are we satisfied?
Are we satisfied yet?
Oh we can never be satisfied.
We will never be satisfied!

That's who we are
Monsters who just know to exterminate when at unrest
And then after a lifetime of blood-sport
we turn to thee for liberation

It's a mess we've willfully created
We're content until we see the eclipse of our lives
When suddenly we realize how we've gone astray 
and need to redress

Devil?
There's no devil.
We are the devil!
For which quality of his do we not bestow?

Hypocrites we are!
We all deserve to die!
If there's anyone worth hating that's us!
For what have we not killed
for the minutest benefit it's worth?

So let there be plagues!
