Mason Schmitt, a songwriter in Nashville, creates some of our favorite songs. Decision Day is a song that captures so many familiar emotions in a new and original way. Her use of melody, and intricate guitar parts make her songs some of the most beautiful things to listen to. Our goal with this single was to recreate the experience of listening to Mason's music in an intimate environment. The analog sound that is captured on the Marantz 5420 highlights what makes Decision Day such an incredible song.

Cam Kennedy is one of the best lyricists we have come across. Driven by the idea of constantly creating imagery for the listener through the use of words is something that makes Cam's music so special. Kennedy's powerful verses are split by the eery, and powerful melody delivered by Luke Levenson.  The experience of listening to his music is unique, one that forces you to think which is something that is often lost in music today.

This week we have the privilege of debuting a song from Luke Levenson. Luke is easily one of the most unique artists we will ever work with. Whether its the bluegrass driven sounds of Candle Kid, or his revival of old soul created with Abbey Smith and Amplify Entertainment Group on "Smoke". Levenson creates something unique and beautiful for the listener with each new track. Luke's falsetto on Gold & Green shows yet another tremendous talent in his ever-growing arsenal, and we are lucky enough to share it with you.

This week we decided to get a little bit festive. We are happy to be debuting Estefania Freire's cover of This Christmas. The song is an incredible song by Donny Hathaway which made it an easy decision to release this week. Estefania's voice highlights the incredible melody that Donny wrote, and we thought it would be cool to do a stripped down version of it. We hope you dig, and we can't wait to share with you more of Estefania's music in the future. Merry Christmas!

This week we are lucky enough to debut a track from Jelly, a surf rock group out of Nashville Tennessee. Will Aiken, the mastermind behind Jelly writes songs that bring the beach wherever they are played. We were lucky enough to record this song at the historic Columbia Studio A here in Nashville, and are stoked with what came from the session. Hopefully this new surf track from Jelly, Lunch,  will keep you warm this winter!
