“Storytelling sound is the music written from the heart.” Across Borders is a collaboration of Keith Said and Simon Grech – better known as the electronic musicians Multifunctional and Fabricka from the island of Malta.

The origins of the project is merely a chance meeting which, within a month, resulted in the gently welcoming dramatic and emotive journey which was the self-titled EP. This was highly received due to the underlining of their musical personas of electronica against epic orchestral arrangements. The influential impact is clear and shows in their individual subsequent works – a permanent effect that kept the duo best of friends to this day.
