Das Art Ensemble of Neurotica (oder kurz "Art Ensemble" bzw. "Neurotica") war ein No-Wave-Projekt, das 1985-86 mit einer Vielzahl von Gastmusikern nahezu alle Clubs und Festivals im Rhein-Main-Gebiet zerstörte und sich im Anschluss konsequenterweise auflöste. Das erste Konzert in Frankfurt fand im "Kunsthaus" statt, und das war tatsächlich in der damals leer stehenden Mouson-Fabrik (heute: Mousonturm). Weitere Konzerte waren u.a. in der Batschkapp als Support von Elliott Sharp / Carbon (NYC) im Rahmen der von Heiner Goebbels und Christoph Anders kuratierten "Materialausgabe", in der Wiesbadener Wartburg, im Jazzkeller Hanau und im Offenbacher Leonhard-Eisner-Park mit Foots Love You, Quintus Kannegießer (Smiles in Boxes) und Ronald Schöppe als Gastmusikern. Mit Chapman Stick, Kettensäge und Metallobjekten war das Instrumentarium exotisch, und der Einsatz von Synthesizern, Sampling Machines und Electronic Drums war Mitte der 80er sehr weit vorn.

In den letzten Jahren war das Art Ensemble nicht untätig: Es sind eine Reihe Alben erschienen, die sich zwischen Ambient, Nu Jazz und zeitgenössischer Musik bewegen, und darum ist es jetzt an der Zeit, das Art Ensemble wieder auf die Bühne zu bringen.

Crozier is irish dj and producer Dáire Crozier who has been djing from 2017, mostly an electro dj or producer but also loves hard techno. signed the first song i wrote to the same label that my hero rex the dog had just released on, uttu's sublabel "Soft Computing" and  released on businessteechnoinstitute's label.have done guest mixes for various series. got into electro from intially hearing  hearing the hacker, then bass junkie, and jensen interceptor and assembler code.then once i heard locked club i found exactly my kind of music. the mix is mostly russian electro by artists such as locked club  rgln and unit boy, which is also known as electro punk, which i like a lot and have started making  since i returned to music after a long time out due to severe long term illness.

Here'z a dope mix by DJ Wizard aka Jeff Mills live on WJLB, Detroit. This mix reminds me so much of DJ Cochis Collier on The Club Style Show on WDMT with Dean Rufus in Cleveland.
Crazy thing is that I just had a conversation with my homie DJ Joey Gonzalez of Moving Disco Productions out of South Lorain (Cleveland) where I grew up. 
We were on the phone reminiscing about the radio show'z & DJ'z that inspired us back in the dayz. Before I moved to Florida back in 1984, Cleveland's legendary Station WDMT 108 FM changed it's 4mat.
Now WDMT was very similar to this WJLB in Detroit & Chicago's WBMX.  I asked my homie who he listed to after & he said WJLB with DJ Wizard, Derrick May & The Electrifying Mojo. I keep 4getting Detroit was only 2 hours away from Lorain. I grew up listening to CKLW on the AM dial. They played everything from Rock 2 Motown Soul. That's why I believe I DJ like I do. No segregation in the music I played. My ears were trained from a young age.
Anyhow, we'll get back to that... for now it'z all about DJ Wizard & Detroit Style mixing.
Big up'z 2 my homie Chris Low from Edinburgh, Scotland, UK who hooked me up with this tape back in 1994. BTW, Chris Low became a UK resident on our 91.5 FM WPRK Radio Show in Orlando, Florida back in the 90'z. Okay ok, let'z cut chatter & get to the matter...

Unter anderen mit Klängen von Ulrich Phillipp, Uli Böttcher, Gruenrekorder (Lasse-Marc Riek und Roland Etzin), Tobias Schmitt (Acrylnimbus), Stefan Riebel, Joshua Weitzel, Martin Speicher und Matze Schmidt.

Die Aufnahme beinhaltet "Fehler", vor allem in den letzten Minuten, d.h. nicht zur Ursendung gehörende (sic!), kurze Einspielungen, die wie zufällig vorkommen. Diese enstanden, weil es sich hier um den Take der Wiederholungssendung vom nächsten Tag handelt. Bei einer Sendewiederholung kann dieses Phänomen entstehen, weil eine Sendeschleife mit beliebiger Musik aus einer Auswahl immer dann automatisch zugeschaltet wird, wenn eine bestimmte Norm-Lautstärke in der eigentlichen Wiederholungssendung unterschritten wird. Im Radio, unter Aufsicht der Landesmedienanstalt, gilt "pausenloses Senden" und daher werden "Lücken" – leise und leiseste Stellen – gefüllt und der Originaltrack gestört. Anmerkung: Angus Carlyle (nicht wie gesprochen "Clarlyle").
