She also discusses what it was like as the festival became less about the work Amy was doing from her desk and more about the work the creatives were making in the rehearsal rooms. February: The Auditions (5)

As COVID-19 struck the globe, forcing theatres, venues, universities, and events to close ACT II 2020 was forced to come to an unexpected end. Hear this years' Festival Director, Amy, open-up about the struggles ACT II went through in March 2020. Hear how she grappled with the uncertain and unexpected moment in ACT II's journey and how she felt at the time. A personal and unfiltered response to a period in ACT II's life that no one ever saw coming.

March - The Unexpected End (6)

Hear how she overcame the unexpected and sudden end to the festival in March and how she used April 2020 to re-create the festival and think about ACT II's future. ACT II is a creative programme bridging the gap between student theatre and the industry. We provide a creative development programme for London Students, giving them access to skills workshops, Q&As, and tips from those currently working in the industry. We encourage London’s students to work alongside one another, creating a London Student Drama community that does not discriminate one institution from another.
