✱ Coágulo is a journey through electronic music as if it was bred and grown from the dirt in the wild lands of South America. In this album, Yvu designs intriguing and sometimes disturbing sounds, using samples from Brazilian Baile Funk to field ambiance and foley recordings, with rhythms often influenced by Organic World Music and Neo-Concrete Music.

The artist expands on the genre’s fearless exploration of extreme sounds and relentless beats, with a deeper focus on the subtle details found in the synthesis of authentic Brazilian Baile Funk instrumentals.

∎ Influenced mainly by the most peculiar Baile soundscapes of São Paulo’s niches, Iguana weaves in genre-defying melodic, percussive, and textural elements. Each track carries a distinct feeling, shaped by carefully curated layers of electronic and organic music inputs from around the globe.
