Hot newcomer Picklejam bursts onto the scene with a stunning 3 track EP of quality Nu-Disco after debuting his work on the recent Hot Digits Year Five compilation.

Warm acid tinged groovers are the order of the day with Apollo's Groove opening the Pickles In Orbit EP with Metro Area-esque levels of chugging vibes. Second track Cosmic Odyssey cements the producers stamp of quality with more acid fuelled moments with a track that builds and builds, grading the listener into a psychedelic disco stupor.
Canaveral finishes the EP with an almost early Orbital sounding cut of electronic breakbeat that also harks back to early 20 20 Vision material from the likes of Random Factor. 

Remixes come from Fingerman who stretches out the goodness of Apollo's Groove with his Version Excursion and Smashed Atoms, another rising star on the scene who twists Cosmic Odyssey into a sparkling future Nu-Disco anthem in the making.

This Picklejam fellow is definitely one to watch this year!

Let's now give a warm welcome to our EPs series all the way from Padova / Italy and uprising producer: Paul Older a.k.a. Paolo Vecchiato, with previous releases on Slightly Transformed and Thunder Jam Records Paul arrives with four stunning afro cuts to the label. As an opener, Paul delivers 'A Boo Kee Moon' filled with a tropical colorful rhythm section, flamin' hot guitar riffs and joyful Afro vocals. Right next to it comes 'Cosmicafricano' dominated by a vigorous bassline ostinato, powerful conga fills and smooth piano chords taking you right straight to the jungle. For our third cut 'Kuma Kuma' arrives as a sexy African anthem escorted by dazzling female vocals, a smooth saxophone solo and breathy flutes making it an exceptional cut to start any set. Our last track 'Monkey Boogie' closes the EP with acid-retro synths, an outstanding disco guitar riff and a perpetuous growing pad taking us back to the disco jungle, stay tuned for more !!

Hailing from Debrecen - Hungary, the fierce and powerful duo 'Peter Makkai & Andras Szerepi' better known as 'The Magic Track' arrive for the very first time to the EP series with an outstanding original four tracker EP sampling chops from different African styles. For their first take 'Pantherson Crusoe' delivers an afrodisiac vibe with enigmatic flutes attached to acid synths and a heavy-weight bassline creating a furious atmosphere perfect to uplift any kind of set. Right next to it 'Juju Love Spell' echoes with another african sample taking things to a breezy mood and a laid-back groove with cowbells on the rhythm section and senoidal waves on the low end. For the third installment 'Four Seasons' takes the release name and brings a funky feeling with female vocals, a fascinating saxophone solo and lots of tropical percussions. As for the last cut 'Strawberry Pops' wraps up this amazing journey with a slo-motion afro-cuban sample, psychedelic organs and exceptional cheerful vocals. Keep your eyes peeled !!
