Low Fidelity Fantasy is an instrumental journey through a strange but vaguely familiar soundscape I dub, Dreamcore. Consisting of 9 original songs, this was a challenging project that led to some of the most complex compositions that I have created so far. If lo-fi/electronic music is your thing, this is for you... but mostly it's for me.

Meet Ryan Ingram, the musical maestro behind the moniker Spoon Douglas and the creative force driving the solo artist project Actual Tree. Hailing from the vibrant musical scene of Tampa since 2004, Ryan is a multi-talented guitarist, bassist, and producer with a passion for pushing boundaries.

As the bass player for the widely acclaimed local band Pilot Jonezz, Ryan has left his sonic imprint on the Tampa music landscape. However, his journey doesn't end there. A versatile artist, he's been a pivotal member of diverse acts like Unknown Vices, Filthy Royalty, and Prisoner Hostage, collaborating with numerous talents along the way.

Drawing inspiration from musical titans like Tool and Rob Zombie, as well as the enchanting compositions of Yoko Kanno and Nobuo Uematsu, Actual Tree's sound is a fusion of heavy metal, electronic, and experimental genres.

What sets Actual Tree apart is not just the genre-blending mastery but the complete autonomy Ryan exercises over his craft. From writing and performing to recording, mixing, and mastering, he is a one-man powerhouse. Occasionally, he invites guest artists into his sonic realm, enriching his compositions with diverse flavors.
