I found a bunch of songs on a tape that wasn’t properly labelled. It just had “Demos 2000” written on it, so I don’t remember what any of these were called or if I had ever named them at all.

And maybe because they weren’t properly named, I don’t really remember recording a lot of them either. But based on the lyrics, I can definitely hear that I was struggling with a relationship that wasn’t working anymore. The lyrics are basically just a string of confused questions. 

There is an unusual three-year gap between this song and the next batch of songs I recorded in 2003.
