during our journey through the beautiful and diverse country of israel we had the opportunity to spend the night on a rooftop in the center of the historic part of jerusalem. just in sight of all the major religious monuments which make this place so special.
I recorded this set when I was supposed to pack my bag and we listened to it about a hundred times during our stay. by far the most special time was the one at the rooftop after a very short night under the stars. 4:20 in the morning. woken by all these incredible sounds coming from dozens of different churches, mosques and synagogues. the sunrise at the horizon.
it was an honour and an incredible experience to be a guest in this beautiful country.

4:20am in jerusalem

when we got up at 5am to take a hike to lions head we were rewarded with a moment of perfection as the sun rose above the mountain rages in the near distance. it presented us with the most beautiful setting of light I have ever whitnessed while the clouds poured over the mighty stone edge of table mountain like a waterfall. what a beautiful glimpse of nature.
I only had the pleasure once to be in this beautiful place, but I hope to return very soon. and when I recently discovered the beauty of the world music / weltmusik genre I realised that this is the sound to what I saw.... so  in my mind, these melodies take me back.

years of mixing led to various styles of electronic music that are melodic and trigger emotions one way or another.  

when performing live I always love to give people a good time and energy and especially to make them dance.

at home though I explore other ways to express myself and communicate with you through more trippy, soft and or playful sounds. to get on electronic journeys.

either way you go, you can be sure that every second of sound is picked out carefully with thought and tells a story reflecting my life.
