A Ring Tone!

Patrick and I had a jam session last night, and I just turned on my recording equipment and left it running for the whole time. This is a little snippet of some of the stuff we did, but each one of these songs came out in "one take" if you will. The last song is an original of Patrick's called "Take This From Me". You will soon be able to hear a complete studio version of the song on his page @Patrick_Tumulty. As for our rendition of "Dominated Love Slave"... Nope, I can offer no explanation. It happened.

Jam Session 1 5 15

An original song that I co-wrote with Wallace Rakoczy in December, and that I just recently got around to actually editing and finalizing. Vocals performed by Wallace; Piano, Drum Kit, Synth Bass and Synth Strings performed by Adam Brewer.
Writing the piece was very much a new experience for me, as our entire collaboration worked via Skype. I spent many hours over those couple weeks sitting at my piano back home in Vermont with Skype open on my computer, working with Wallace who was across the country in California. We ended up finishing the song at around 3:00 am on Christmas, because it was written as a gift to her Grandmother, whom the song is about.

A cover of "Holiday" by Green Day. Patrick, Jas, and I have been "working" on this for probably 8 months now, but it's only taken so long because for a long time I failed to get a girl into the studio to sing the female harmony. Ironic, right? Well, after a long wait, Ammarie Grassle so graciously agreed to come sing it for us, so many thanks to her! The majority of the recording process took place on one long (and sweaty) weekend back in late August.

I'm a NYC-based singer-songwriter, composer, arranger, instrumentalist, and actor. I grew up in Montpelier, Vermont and attended U-32 High School. I'm currently training in Musical Theater performance at CAP21 Musical Theater Conservatory in New York.
