There’s this tree I walk by often… it’s starting to bloom. I take home its gifts every so often and muse about their worth. But all that ever happens is slow withering of what once was. I replace them, but alas it seems to be a never ending cycle… I suppose I shouldn’t pick them, or maybe the lesson is to just appreciate what is here now… for tomorrow it may be gone.

In a day, it’s already a shell of itself… in four days it’s half the size and in a week it’s almost a quarter… 

Time is the most finite and unbiased judge of all things...
