Review@junodownload: One-man production line turned label boss Adam Funk dons his Disco Re Edit guise to showcase another selection of tried and tested, party-starting treats. He begins by serving up an extended version of a semi-familiar, P-funk era treat - think Prince style guitars, cowbells, silly solos and smart grooves - before doffing a cap to early '80s, cock-rocking disco-rock on the heavy "Disco King". He dishes up a killer chunk of Italo influenced disco-rock grandiosity on the killer "Disco Rock (DJ Mix)", before playing around with eyes-closed guitar solos and throbbing synthesizer lines on "From The Space (Extended Mix)". The Hammond-heavy grooves of "Improvisation (Extended Mix)" and soaring, string-laden AOR disco of "In My Heart" complete a solid package.

Adam Funk lays down yet another collection of fun-time versions. With full focus locked on the heart of the party, there's no beard grazing crate stroking here, just straight up party exciters. Highlights include the clever loopy build on the climax of "Gospel", the smouldering, come-to-bed winks of "So Boogie Love" and the audacious space-race primed twist on classic "Let's Do It Again". Wow factor set to stun.

The dude serves up a whopping nine new cuts on this devilish EP, all of them well-suited to a Saturday evening spin on the ol' decks, at prime time. "Hotter Than Hot" is a lovely, slo-mo boogie attack with a funk sensitivity, while "Big City" is our favourite due to its grizzly bottom end, synth keys and electronic percussion swing. Make sure that you also check "Move Ya Feet To Da Boogie Beat", a funky-as-hell boogie bombshell for the winter months. All in all, a fine blend of boogie, funk and disco groovers.

There are nine new cuts to get to grips with here – Funk Re-Edit's luxurious tight-funk bass anthem "Disco Reggae Hot", the lazy, lapping ocean beach disco of "Imaginary Land" by Disco Re-Edit and the chuggin locomotive rhythms of Boogie Re-Edit’s "Give It Up". Elsewhere Adam Funk brings some boogie disco to the table with "Steppin' Out Disco Boogie” and "Gonna Get Your Love" is slick disco-house at its finest.

The British-American marriage of the AFC label and producer Adam Funk continues to flourish with this new fizzy nine-track nugget. "Rock It Dont Stop It" sees earlier vintage B-Boy influences replaced slightly for a more disco feel but incorporating some serious rap vocals. "Get Down Boogie Soul Train" meanwhile, samples some mellow 70s disco tune, adding tougher sfx’s to the originals' horns, strings and guitar licks.

Prolific disco/boogie producer Adam Funk (aka Boogie, Disco and DJ Re-Edits), sticks to his own AFC label for his latest missive, the "Super Cool Re-Edits Vol.19". There are several new jams to groove to - the disco-driven space funk of "Everybody Don't Stop", the raw boogie fuelled title track, the 80-style boogie synth freakout "Street Breakers" and the boogie ballad of "Girl's Love".
