Ever wonder what it woulda been like if you ever coulda/shoulda?? Perfect moments captured in time - they can't last, nor should they, so preserve that brief moment in your memory/heart/soul and cherish it for the brief moment of joy (and pain) it gave you. 

Insider notes and credits where they due: Recorded on a patio in Atlanta, GA... this song's lyrics were co-written by iamdouglas (who also sings on it with me). The music was co-written (on a balcony) with my HOWLEY cohort, the one and only DRU.

For A Second In Time

Originally written as an instrumental called "Tristian's Theme" (based on Brad Pitt's character in Legends of the Fall, not joking lol), I wrote lyrics years later. It felt right. Life doesn't always look the way I envisioned but if I just wait (ie accept reality as it is, here and now, and proactively pursue my goals), then I will see that life ain't all that bad. And then, just maybe "we'll be happy".

Wait And See

Go go gadget! Written for electric guitar in the vein of Strokes/Petty/Iggy/Bowie. I reworked it into a slower acoustic (slightly jazzy?) tune. Thanks to Josh Copp for inspiring the Beatle-esque harmonies in the solo. Listen carefully for a 5 year old singing background vocals. Thanks to Jamie Roberts for his recording bg vocals in the back of a Tesla after filming a commercial.
