2025.08.26 Cosmic Giggle Short Morning Set

On Monday of the 2025 Burn, my Grandmother passed away at 94; the funeral was on Thursday, and when I called my Dad to express that my greatest concern was that he would believe I was choosing to not show up for him, he told me, "You are exactly where you need to be, with exactly who you need to be with, please stay there."

It was, as always, a week full of adversity, kicking off with severe sustained winds that threatened many a camp, and yet, with the lovely humans of Suspended Animation, my honorary BAAAHS family, and my Grandma by my side for the first time on playa, it was my favorite year to date.

So, my gift, heavily inspired by the artists of This Never Happened, where I reach first for healing.

Burning Man 2025: This Never Happened

On Tuesday, having persevered through the massive dust storm 2 following days of mild showers, and having rebuilt our bar twice already, Salty Jacks had the temerity to open for service!
I got on the decks around 4 and spun for a while, and just as I decided everyone had had enough... ⛈️⛈️⛈️
SIGH.
