Hello again, .. It is time once more, to emerge from the shadows with a track. 
Today is my Birthday, it's fitting that such an entry come out today.

This track was a collaborative work on a new level comparable to my other projects, a first to be featured on my page.

I've been following him for some time, since I started to get into this style of instrumental & sound. And he long stood out as a person of a high calibur with the sounds and production value.. before I knew what was good, I had listened to his entire list many times and download some more. 
The type of stuff I was finding myself so inspired by, I was writing complete songs more complex than my actual projects .. just on the side because the sound was that good. 
With no intentions of really bringing some of them to the light.. 

This track was originally recorded to a completely different instrumental. Just to show him that I was inspired by his work and this was what I wrote. 

After some brief messages, we connected heads, and he connected my original words with a brand new sound, that he felt fit the verse more. 
I couldn't agree more, and I sincerely hope you enjoy this jam. 
Two complete strangers from half across the globe in distance seperate by language barriers and connections came together despite all odds and made a moment that i'm truly proud to be a part of...
The raw mix fits the sound perfectly & lends to this message, as if recorded simply to get this these thoughts off ones chest. 
The song was initially something of a journal entry, it's about realizing the 'flaws' that you posses inside, to face them, not run- and fade them from existence. Fade them ALL from existense 
I realize that I am a imperfect human being, .. very imperfect. 
The song dives into details about my personal self and life, and thoughts. 
But it's not about being perfect, it's about being right & true. To others, but most importantly the self. 
Lying to yourself yields no rewards. And you cannot run from yourself.. The Soul Warrior must fight the battles on the inside.. Vanquish the foe that could be yourself, your worst enemy.

This time I've remixed 3 tracks from Med & Blu's new collaboration. I don't know why I decided to try and remix Madlib beats... its too hard.

PS. I know the hook on Burgundy Whip is out of tune with the beat, I can't make beats for singing... Im just not that good.

The Estate of James Yancey has revived J Dilla’s longstanding company PayJay as a functioning imprint to release the instrumental counterpart to Dilla’s long lost vocal album, The Diary on July 8th on CD/Digital, in conjunction with Mass Appeal Records. Initially intended for release in 2002, The Diary is the final batch of unissued material that Dilla had assembled for release during his lifetime, lending crucial insight into the producer’s prowess and thought process in the period leading up to his break with the major label system and the extremely fertile period that followed (which encompassed the making of the canonical classics Ruff Draft, Jaylib, and Donuts). MindsOne connects with Belgium's DJ Iron on their newest endeavor, "Phaseology", and aim to examine the bigger picture. Why are we here?  Where do we go in the end? Is that an SP1200? Damn right. Is life too complex to condense into 40 minutes? Challenge accepted.

First, don’t look at life as the sum of its events. Think about it as a series of phases. Next, combine MindsOne’s handcrafted lyrical artistry with DJ Iron’s jazz infused boom-bap. Combine, two parts cynicism, one part mysticism, and add water. Then, sprinkle in a guest appearance by the sage John Robinson, throw in a heavy dose of turntablism from DJ Iron and MindsOne’s DJ Noumenon and Slim Deluxe, and the theory is complete.

"Phaseology" is the follow-up to MindsOne's 2014 critically acclaimed release, "Pillars," produced by Kev Brown. Journey along as Tronic and KON Sci explore the phases of life and create scenes, both real and imagined, to give listeners a bird’s-eye view. Relive childish fantasies and revisit irrational fears. Go to work and act like an adult. Ponder your existence and reflect on your life. Spoiler: It’s all gonna end. But not today.
