I'm not exactly certain what led me to come up with this concept for a song, but I've had fun writing it and recording it, regardless. YOGOO(You Only Get Old Once) is basically about an elderly man that knows he doesn't have long to go, so he's going to live his life in a manner that suits him. The lady in the picture is Betty White, by the way.

Ok, so if you know me at all, you'll know this song was a completely different track about 4 years ago. I basically re-imagined it and tried to make it easier to follow and take it from the perspective of the male who overhears a conversation in which he thinks he's being talked about. This causes his insecurities to come out, and the only thing that takes the pain away is dancing. Enjoy lol.

Package Problems

This song was something I'd written about 5 years ago with Heath Underhill, but I never was happy with the way it ended up sounding due to my amateur sound engineering skills. So, now I've brought it back, and it's probably my favorite song that I've written.

This song basically encompasses my psyche from childhood up to adulthood. Video games have always been my ultimate escape other than writing and recording music. So, to share this song with other people is a big deal to me. 

Personifying yourself as Mario or Sonic or Master Chief when life isn't going so well can, strangely enough keep you going when you don't think you can take anymore crap from the world. If you're a gamer, I know that this hits right at home. I hope you enjoy it, and I hope that you find joy in listening to this song.

The Superhero Inside(The Mario Song)

So, this song was written and recorded about 4 years ago when I was living in a rent house in Tyler, Texas, with a friend from paramedic school by the name of Caleb Longino. I needed a place to stay at the time, and he was kind enough to allow me to stay in the spare room at the rent house. This is where I recorded this regionally popular song. It wasn't a professional studio or some fancy place, it was in the back room of a house while someone was doing laundry lol.

So, for the 15 to 20 people that actually heard the original of this song, I'm sorry that this is nowhere near being what that track was. I axed the profanity and such and actually made it about Mortal Kombat s everyone could enjoy it. Hopefully, the 10 people that really enjoyed it to begin with don't hate me for my remake of a song I originally wrote like 5 years ago lol.

There's not really much to say about this track other than it was just supposed to be an instrumental track, and then today I decided I wanted to give it some lyrics....so I did. And it sounded ridiculous, so I uploaded it to Sound Cloud. This might be your tipping point of "enough internet for the day", and you'll go spend time with real live people. Your family misses you.

Techno Hoe Down

So this was 09/18/15 when I was randomly invited to come onto to the morning show on The Breeze, Brain's Morning Madhouse. The day before I'd used a quasi New York accent when requesting a song, then after revealing I wasn't a New Yorker to the hosts, I bantered for a minute or so with the DJs and then they randomly invited me to come to the studio to be on the show. It was pretty much the greatest time ever.
