This recording was made in 2002 when I was just beginning to learn about the art of writing and recording music.  In some ways it's laughable, but in others, I'm kind of proud of it.  Anyhow, here it is, warts and all....

I understand you think that I've created some kind of illusion.
But what I've been procrastinating is more than merely amusing.
I find it confusing to define who's suffering from confusion.
Don't know if it's your mind or mine refusing to define delusion.

You see, to me it's awfully coincidental,
That at the same time salvation found me, I found potential.
My credentials often try to impede...influential ascent of my message...
They blame it on weed.

So I concede to just run it by you, try you lyrically.
Just take a ride on my thoughts...perceive what I can see.
I get the feeling you still don't think you got the venom in you.
But if you do or don't know...it only grows more potent moment by moment...
Your head ain't nothing but a battlefield.  
Did you think that you own it?
So just roll with the punches, always follow your hunches.
Look at me, I've taken bunches and bunches and bunches of punches.
But I ain't your mom; I can't pack your bag-lunch.  Just conceive...
