This track is something I made for the "Together Festival" in Boston which celebrates local electronic music in our fair city. It was something I did to more say hello to the general vibe of the city, and strangely enough it launched this alias and my desire to keep making more music like this. So I guess here's to a new beginning!

The debut EP from Beta Ghosts on Cenote Records features two original tracks and one club ready remix from Smeed & Suspence.  The namesake track, Amana, is masterfully crafted, which journeys the listener through floating atmospheres, hypnotic synths, and a chugging bass line.  Yellow Light Magic follows, and is flashes of psychedelia.  Its easy to get lost in the liquid washes of the filtered guitar, keys, and synths.  Extremely catchy and melodic, Yellow Light Magic is perfect to start bringing you up or when you need to take it down.  Wrapping up the EP is the club ready remix of Amana from Boston's super group Smeed & Suspence.  The is the essence of a deep banger and it shows as the relentlessly chugging bass line gives perfect contrast to the moody synths.  Ready for prime time in a dark club.

Reinforcing the global scope of the label, artists such as The Junkies from Toronto and Layton Giordani from New York, prove techno is winning a place in the heart of the new generation of artists coming out of North America.
