Amniote Editions teams up with Mala Junta to release “The Collective Capsule” in celebration of 5th anniversary of Berlin’s favourite queer event.

“The Collective Capsule” is a celebration and tribute to the unique Mala Junta and it’s impact on Berlin’s vibrant contemporary queer scene as well as a reflection of the core principles of these two collectives, which serve as a mirror for the society we want to push forward.

The package features a 12″ vinyl record composed of 4 tracks from Mala Junta’s residents Hyperaktivist, Yazzus, DJ Tool, and D.Dan, as well as two compilations featuring Roza Terenzi, Jensen Interceptor, Mohajer, Peachlyfe, Francois X, Narciss to name a few..

The Collective Capsule Compilation Vol. 2 emerges on Amniote Editions on 15th September.

We are a Dublin based party and platform dedicated to avant-garde electronic music founded by Mark Davis aka darkmavis and Sean Murray debuting our first label release with Aerga Vol 01.

Aerga, aka "the air or the ether" (as Gaeilge) comes in the form of a jam packed VA compilation featuring twenty one up and coming and also established artists from the emerald isle and afar presenting avant-garde and genre bending club music which knows no bounds.

A project planned and developed to traverse the soundscape of alternative club sounds through local Irish artists and friends, the vision of what our Ethereal Skies platform seeks to present to the world musically comes to life. Aerga is a sonic journey that defies genre boundaries, contrasts the new skool with the oldskool and presents the dysfunctional possibilities of electronic music.

Aerga is a spectrum of sounds from ambient dreamscapes, to avant-trance, to breakcore, to experimental pop, to donk, to gabber, to neo-grime, to prog, hard groove and more.

Due to a "military special operation“ RNBWS was forced to turn his back on his adopted home Moscow for now and found a new home in Istanbul. The puls of this vibrant metropole at the Bosporus provided the creative energy for RFR 024.

"Finest Gear“? Hell yeah! This track is for all of those, who are grinding Diablo 4 hardcore at the moment and need an additional motivation boost. Stomping techno, Psytrance and Goa elements are the vital items for this build, which is 100% suitable for endgame.

"Freedom is A Choice“ should pull every UK hardcore lover’s grin up to their temples. Oldschool breakbeats straight outta the warehouse, dusty and and dry as a bone, refined with a Prodigy melody, that Liam Howlett could not have composed any better. Absolutely massive track here!

We stay in the Oldschool. "LXTC“ pays homage to genre defining artist of the 80s and 90s. Whoever’s got shivers running down their spine whilst thinking of Drexciya, Egyptian Lover or Cybonix - you came to the right place. A masterfully crafted piece of Electro.

As it befits, everything is getting "Out Of Control“ at the end. RNBWS’s definition of Ghetto Tech hands it on a plate and leaves us hungry for what we can expect from him in the future. This might be his strongest EP until to date.

Club Elevate is kickstarting 2024 with Elevate Alumni. A project that invites the Club Elevate alumni to showcase their productions through a VA charity compilation. This compilation, invites a plethora of Australia's renowned curators and selectors to showcase their productions, leaning into high-energy & futuristic sounds, optimal for the later hours of the dance-music realm.

Featuring the likes of Cybernet, Fruit Ninja, Hedchef, Lucas Boston, Marli, Prizefight, Yollks & Hedchef and Willem, these artists take us on a journey through, techno, trance progressive house, drum & bass and trance. As a cohort, the project sounds sonically cohesive, whilst each track remains creatively unique in its own right - a true representation of the diverse and dynamic nature of contemporary electronic music.

Fruit Ninja is a Naarm/Melbourne based artist who specialises in the progressive house sector. As their first formal release, they have gifted us with a modern-day, progressive house anthem. With a dreamy vocal sample used throughout, this track is the perfect kickstart to the V/A as A1.

Łukasz Seliga needs little introduction to anyone even roughly following Poland’s dance and electronic underground, as his contributions – as a live performer, producer, remixer or DJ – embellished the better part of its story. Between his solo endeavours under the slg moniker, and projects such as Casiopepe or Seltron 400, he has long traversed genres and sounds, aptly and joyfully, always staying true to his distinct musical vision rather than being prompted by periodic shifts of fancy.

On Sideways, his newest EP outing for Trance-Atlantyk, Łukasz appears under his own name – Seliga – for the first time, thus restating his identity and underlining the honesty of his craft. In a time when dance music tends to be driven increasingly by nostalgia, Seliga takes but a sip, ultimately eschewing it. As a result, the music we hear is more of a direct expression of his own abiding purpose – a lived, rather than re-lived experience, an auditory utopia, sung in a language the artist is deeply anchored in, but whose expressive qualities he seeks to enhance, and not simply exploit.

Across the EP’s four tracks we are treated to impeccable, entrancing house riddims – masterfully executed, with subtle, yet meaningful nods to dub and ambient, and echoing inspirations such as The Orb, Andrew Weatherall’s remix work and the early Warp catalogue. Driving and soothing, kinetic and cordial, refreshing and utterly danceable, these four tunes succeed in conveying a unique sense of the melanphoric – and this is precisely what makes for their delicious seligability.

Entitled the "Windows 95 Anthem" EP, this offering comes hot on the heels of his recent standout productions on esteemed labels like Ninja Tune, DJ Tennis' Life & Death, and his very own imprint, Semi Delicious.
