Before You Arrived is the debut album of Czech guitarist Adam Pavlíček. The CD features eleven pieces for solo acoustic guitar. Adam’s pieces bring together classical guitar technique and percussive fingerstyle. The harmony of his compositions draw on pop, rock, and folk. However, these are instrumental compositions whose forms are closer to classical music. The solo guitar allows for an intimate expression of emotions, making Before You Arrive a strongly emotional and imaginative experience for attentive listeners.

Kytice je skladba pro klasickou kytaru, kterou napsal český kytarista a skladatel Milan Zelenka (*1939). Jde o volné variace na české lidové písně. Tuto nahrávku pořídil Adam Pavlíček (*1985) 25.5. 2022.
Slovy samotného autora:
"Je krásné v klidu usínat, když hlavou se prolínají melodie desítek písní, které mi zpívali moji drazí rodiče v dobách mého dětství. Pak není třeba se ptát, co bylo inspirací pro vznik Kytice. Snad se mi podařilo obohatit kytarovou literaturu o skladbu, která nechává znít krásný odkaz českých lidových písní."

Adam Pavlíček is a guitarist, composer, and music teacher. He was born in Prague in 1985 and began playing the guitar on his 10th birthday. From 2001 to 2010, he studied classical guitar at the Prague Conservatory and the Music and Dance Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (HAMU), with an exchange at the academy in Zurich. Interpreting classical music is still an important current framing his musical development. However, the focus of his expression is in his own compositions for solo guitar, in which he combines classical technique and percussive fingerstyle playing. The harmonies he uses are close to pop, rock, and folk. However, these are instrumental compositions whose form is closer to classical music. In 2021, Adam published his debut album as a composer, Before You Arrived, performed a number of concerts, began developing a method book for guitar, remained active as a teacher, and begun preparing the compositions for his next album.
