With a hectic worldwide touring schedule and the completion of their debut Flying Circus Ibiza residency @ Sankeys, studio time was scarce for the boys.  In the few weeks they had back home in Barcelona, Anthony and Luca put their heart and soul into the creation of the Excuse My Wilderness EP. A process that took over 6 months to complete. While well-established polish DJ/producer duo Catz N' Dogz is mostly known for bouncy, tongue-in-cheek house tunes, it was the precursor project 3 CHANNELS that originally put them on the map. Starting back in 2005, they enamored scene pundits with releases on labels such as Trapez, Crosstown Rebels or Dirtybird, presenting a particularly catchy definition of techno that would soon cross over into the uplifting, pop-infused style of their current work. With SPEICHER 88, Grzegorz Demiañczuk and Wojciech Tarañczuk return to their techno roots and drop two hypnotic bangers whith minimalist arrangements that can't deny their monstrous impact on the floor. Both ALPHABETTI SPAGHETTI and RUCOLA APOCALYPSE are expertly layered exercises in sheer club momentum - quintessential firestarters and a hugely satisfying scratch for that dancing itch.

2015 saw Stephan Bodzin release his second full length, “Powers of Ten”, as well as a new single on DJ Tennis’ and Tale of Us’ taste making label Life and Death. The album is another magical piece of work that focuses on melody and rhythm, on fat bass and vivid sound design and is a truly captivating journey through the mind, music, body and soul of one of dance music’s truly modern greats. After its release, a great team of modern music makers was enlisted to remix tracks from it: Maceo Plex & Shall Ochin, Fur Coat, Extrawelt, long time musical sparring partner Marc Romboy, Pan-Pot, Max Cooper, Agents of Time, Dominik Eulberg and many more all contributed to what is an essential collection. With a remix of ‘Sleepless’, a Pan-Pot track from their latest album, Stephan Bodzin closed the latest chapter of 2015 in what has been an exhilarating musical journey in his capable and creative hands.

Jade has long been a part of the No.19 family, playing globally at Social Experiment events with the crew and featuring on the labels samplers and compilations. Now she finally steps up to deliver a fantastic debut single for the imprint, letting the world in on her sound with the stunning Circadian Arousal. Jade is a talented and dedicated Canadian DJ/producer who has, since 2008, been mentored by No.19 label boss Jonny White. Her work both in the studio and the DJ booth has truly paid off with this exciting & talented artist developing her own unique style and sound. Now she comes correct once again with a dark, enthralling single full of brilliant club sounds that are full of her own personal and unique sense of charm. Opening up her account with the world renowned label is Process S, a heavyweight, enthralling house track with a wonderfully off kilter and broken feel to it. Compellingly designed, the track layers pulsating bass and disembodied synth stabs over some inspired drum programming to create something almost otherworldly. Then comes the equally brilliant but quite different Process C. This one is more direct and driven, with a raw techno feel that is offset by the haunting vocals snippets and subtle melodies, sublime stuff! This is a stellar new EP from No.19 that confirms Jade as a core part of their musical team and a star in her ascendency.

JADE - Deep Thoughts (Preview)

Almost exactly three years after NR&, a project uniting &ME’s and Rampa’s production with the voice of New York Disco-House-siren Nomi, dropped their debut EP, we finally can announce a new chapter in this ongoing transatlantic menage. This very “Spoken For” EP is comprised of two new tracks, that again fuse songwriting with floor-demands and showcase the same crackling and pulse quickening passion that instantly has become NR&’s trademark. So here’s the evidence – a long distance relationship is not necessarily doomed to get boring after a while.

“Taste Like” on A might be conceived as the club-affair of those two new joints. A tune indulging in self-control, extending the pre- eruptive moment of excitement to track length. There is Nomi’s unmistakeable sexed up oration, flanked by an affirmative thunderstorm of claps, then a bass heavy bridge, overflowing into a noise brushed finale. Altogether a tasty flavour carrier for an effective floor heating.
“Spoken For” is not only the title track, but also the hymn coming out of the flipside ambush. There is no kick necessary to underpin what Nomi’s charismatic croon is laying down. Therefore a wise choice to let the arrangement of interspersed field recordings, percussive details and piano- and synth-decoration exercise in unobtrusiveness. Safe to say, this tune will refine many future peaktimes anyway.

The glitchy cut blends space-age tweaks and intergalactic low-ends with groove-laden percussion and prolonged drops. 

It's about as techy as they come and the bass hits hard, like with most Fuse releases. This is a great addition to the already booming discography.

Stephan Hinz returns to Second State once again, painting the canvas of silence with his masterstroke of imposing drums and vicious hooks. The title track 'Venom' kicks off the EP with a devilish throbbing groove while mischievous organ stabs rise and fall generating an impeccable balance between tough and playful. 'Primal' follows up with a more devious style where relentless percussion and sinister synth stabs culminate into absolute debauchery. Switching gears, 'Out Of It’ shows Stephan twisting the track's elements into a grooving, up-beat tool with a contagious faction of ingredients that transform into a sublime trip suitable for a million situations. 
Clinching the EP is a venture into the ethereal: the aptly titled 'Shadowselves' takes a journey into the dramatic world of villainous sonics and surging tones creating a labyrinth of dense atmospherics before winding into a grand crescendo.

'All the Right Noises,' the latest album from Roman Flügel that's set to arrive via Dial Records on October 28, is an effort by the veteran Frankfurt producer to create something detached from the club-oriented sounds that populate his DJ sets. In truth, "Dust" doesn't eschew the dancefloor completely, but its woozy synths would make just as much sense in a horror soundtrack as they would in a club. The track debuted on RBMA Radio's First Floor, our weekly look at what's new in electronic music.

Roman Flügel - Dust [First Floor Premiere]

The highly creative, Paris-based, Romanian electronic music composer and DJ, BOg, returns to Bedrock again with his dynamic 3-Track ‘Moonlight EP’. The EP’s title track and ‘0901’ are also highlights on the 67 track 5xCD  ‘John Digweed – Live In Brooklyn, Output NYC’, the forthcoming 9th edition of the much-lauded mix series.

With the ‘Moonlight EP’, BOg is raising his creative bar ever upwards, each of this trio of new musical masterpieces showcasing his unique talent. The instantly addictive melodic groove and sparkling energy of ‘Moonlight’ shows exactly what the young Romanian is capable of, with its hypnotic subtlety. ‘Eternal’ ups the energy quotient with its powerful groove and increasingly twisted arrangement and the spirited end result is no less enthralling. Finally, rounding off the package in style comes ‘0901’, introducing a deeper shade of darkness and warped funk into the proceedings, a combination that is sure to turn heads everywhere.

Having been deeply passionate about music since childhood, BOg has risen to his current prominence through releases on the likes of Crosstown Rebels and Alex Niggemann’s Soulfooled label, in addition his regular Bedrock outings. At the end of March he will also release a track on the new ‘Secret Weapons’ (Innervisions) compilation album. His DJing skills have recently seen BOg perform alongside John Digweed and Eagles & Butterflies at Mexico’s BPM Festival, and he also will support John at his forthcoming show in Bucharest at Kristal Glam Club. This summer BOg will grace the decks at the Electric Castle Festival (Romania) alongside Dixon, Ame, DJ Sneak, and other scene luminaries. A young man to keep an eye on perhaps?

Maybe you know them by 'Uplift', the track they did together with Rafael Cerato released on Diynamic, but in this debut release on Suara they show their musical palette in three amazing original tracks. 'Trip' has potential to be the track of the night if you play it in the right moment, magic breakdown. 'Knup' reminds of old progressive house tracks with a 21st century feeling and 'Wall' is for powerful sets, a track leaded by a mental arpeggio ready to burn your brain. For remix duties we count on Simon Baker under his nickname B.K.R. with a fat bassline remix of 'Wall' and the mighty Lauer take us to the EBM golden days with an industrial post-punk influenced version of the same track. One of the most mature Suara’s releases over the last months.

With the Mensarda EP we’re given two original and all new tracks to boom out on those hot summer days where moments are magic: Mensarda and Kioki. Choose your poison wisely then, from the slow dripping tribal infused Mensarda that oozes warm tones, to the heightening Kioki where upbeat and vibrant undertones play melancholy with the rhythm.

Neither Inxec nor Droog need an introduction. They are established artists in their own right, Inxec crafting melodic techno cuts day in day out, and Droog being the brains behind one of the most successful US labels in recent times, Culprit. We are lucky enough to snap up this fresh EP, "Rude", which demonstrate exactly what happens when two great talents get together and spend sleepless nights in the studio. 

"Rude" is a dark twisted and ominous number until the female vocal comes in and rips through the track like a ray of light after the thunderstorm. It's a belter of a track, with many twists and turns but never losing sight of the place it was made for - the dance floor. 

The legend, Brett Johnson, turns not one, but two interpretations of "Rude". The “Brett Johnson Channel Mix” embodies the alter ego in one self. Slowly creeping up then cascading into a groovy climax.  that makes you want to throw your hands in the air. The "Twerk Mix" offers a stellar alternative twist to the original.

Special Case turn in a darker affair of "Rude" which should certainly please those with an off kilter sense of melody. With funky beeps and spine trembling cracks this song is like a whip on the dance floor. Not to mention the sensual lyrics mid track that encourage sporadic dance moves.  

"Bad Timing", despite the name, couldn't have at a better time, the lighter groove being is a contrast to the previous track yet complementing the EP with perfection.

Supernature unleashes Tamer Malki’s soulful mystery with the emotional four-track EP, Lifted.

Tamer has been picking up well deserved international attention with his recent release, ‘Change Your Mind,’ on Kindish (Get Physical’s sister label). His sound is instinctive and current; it evokes a level of emotion that is both uplifting and grounding. You can hear his desert ancestry in-between the bass and claps, feeling its warmth in resonant melody.

The word DEEP comes to mind when pounding this EP, but that’s an understatement. Perhaps there are no words to communicate the primitive sounds the soul makes, luckily there is music for that, and Tamer Malki is speaking the enigmatic language of the heart in both Lifted and Steel Breeze. AlexKid and Fabio Giannelli, serve up remixed variations that add a whole new dimension to an already seamless production.

Lifted sweeps you off your feet, and dissolves the ground below, evoking images of an astral dream; your body effortlessly carried over villages and cities, over sand dunes and mountains, beckoned by far away drums and mysterious vocals by Alex Nazar. Tribal percussion, sonorous bass and well-paced snares only start the journey through an orchestra of discord and harmony which is the human experience. All a bit heady but deeply moving and incredibly danceable.

Fabio Giannelli, with 13 years of dance music experience and some summer hits also coming out of Get Physical and Steve Lawler’s, Viva Warriors, brings to the Lifted remix a more techy sound and a quicker delivery of hefty bass, not forgoing the airy galactic elements of the original track. Fabio amplifies the discord bringing listeners to a level of restful unease which is perfectly timed and then placated by the tracks deep and alluring vocals.

Steel Breeze, is possibly on the lighter side, with deep native bass sounds which meet the modern world in sonic alchemy. Kicking off with a deep melody and travelling bass, this track’s got undeniable rhythm and a sound that carries. Wafting guitar riffs laid over rain sticks and Tamer’s signature spaced sounds bring captivating notions of warm Balearic sunsets or even a midnight jungle rendezvous. Always blending dark with the light, the deep groovy bass could also easily take you through sunrise and into oblivion. 
AlexKid, is renowned for his remixes from Nina Kraviz to Damian Lazarus. His collaborations with M.A.N.D.Y and home base at Watergate club in Berlin have made him an integral part of the Berlin music scene and he brings all that force to his Steel Breeze Tooldub Remix.
