Pulsars is a piece composed for Octet and will be recorded live by the RLPO. The name of the piece is inspired by the rotational nature of a celestial Pulsar. Pulsars can produce a manner of different rhythms due to the incredible oscillations of pulsing light omitted by them, this is how I have I tried to approach the piece when composing it.

30 Second Banjo-like Videogame Music

I decided to compose a small orchestral piece trying to encapsulate the journey of a refugee finally reaching safety. This piece is not meant to be political but rather a personal one. The news as of late has shown us the desperate struggle of thousands of people. Many of those people use the train lines of the EU to navigate their way to a better life. I hope you enjoy the music.

Since its Christmas I thought I'd do a small miniature composition. The piece is based of 'God ye rest merry gentlemen, and has echos of the piece 'Christmas eve at Sarajevo'. Rather than being a 'serious' piece its best to just view it as a bit of fun. I hope you enjoy it :)

The Force Theme Demo (re-orchestrated)

A small piece of Brass writing composed for my partner Jordon. I figured it would be fun to try and compose his name out on a score and still hopefully have a coherent performable piece of music at the end of the process. I tried to represent his fun nature, hope you enjoy it :)

My first piece using East West VSTs with a DAW (Reaper). I chose to use a simple structure to test out the qualities of the VSTs, my next project will be using more complex structure and exploring a more 'articulated' performance of a single solo instrument and accomp.

The instruments used are Pizzacato strings (Double bass, Cello and Viola), Solo Cello and Violin, Flute, trombones, horns and percussion.

An arrangement of the Chorale from Mahler's 2nd Symphony for Brass Band. I wanted to see if a Brass Band could replicate the scope and scale of a part of this piece. Created on Sibelius 7.5, Audio from Noteperformer. Instruments used listed below...

Mahler 2-Chorale for Brass Band

SpaceWalker was composed in 2017. As a Gamer I wanted to try and see if I could compose something that was similar to the Mass Effect Soundtrack. I loved the more subtle music in that game and how it enhanced the overall experience of the exploration of its Universe. SpaceWalker is very simple in its construction, the goal is to facilitate a sense of calmness while doing something in a game...like being in a menu screen or a star map.
