Théo Muller has played a key role in the French electronic scene for the past decade as a co-founder of the Midi Deux parties and label in Bretagne, a former resident DJ and curator at La Machine du Moulin Rouge in Paris, the label manager of Krakzh or more recently as the line-up curator of La Ferme de Quincé (a farm and cultural venue in Rennes).

Putting his Breton origins at the forefront of his work, the talented DJ also established himself as a sharp producer in 2018 on the Concrete label with an EP hailed by Laurent Garnier, Chloé and Move D. He also contributed on Lumière Noire, Vastechoses, Worst Records, Eddy Larkin, Grid, Rutilance, Dôme from Astropolis and on his imprint: Krakzh.

That’s where he released in 2020 his first album “Gouzanv Pe Unanin” including featurings with Antoine from Positive Education and Swiss artist NVST. His journey with NVST began here, they later developed a strong spiritual connection that led to the release of their upcoming LP in March 2023 on Pensaments Sonics, subdivision of Hivern Discs.

In the meantime, he started a French electro punk band with two friends called “Dalle Béton” that will be on tour this summer and which was an undeniable highlight of the 2022 Transmusicales festival.

Able to play at any time and for hours, he has his own way of captivating the crowds though sets compiled of dub, techno and rock. From friendly raves in Bretagne to Dimensions or Montreux Jazz Festival, he knows how to have a special time with the dancers.

Shanti Celeste is one of those artists whose personality matches her DJ style. Her fun-loving nature and breezy demeanour always light up a room, as do her vibrant sets that span sunny house music, slow-burning disco and emotive techno—just revisit her RA podcast for a reminder. Fresh off her Hessle Audio debut, the London-based artist sat down with Martha Pazienti-Caidan for an honest chat about track selection, bad gigs and her approach to production.

During DJ sets, the Peach Discs co-founder doesn’t like to focus on genres. Instead, "I think about, like, building and releasing tension and making sure that I stay in a specific energy level," she explained. "Whereas before, I think I knew the energy I wanted to bring, but I didn't know how to do that cause I was just thinking about everything in terms of genre."

Reaching this holistic stage, however, took time. It was a process of acquiring knowledge and experience but also confidence, she described, adding how she previously had "really bad imposter syndrome." Learning to recognise that certain factors might be outside an artist’s control is essential to self-realisation, she continued. Recounting her experience of playing big festival stages, she noted the importance of "learning what side of yourself to channel" rather than compromise on music.
