Fiction In The Fire

New album, Peripheries, out June 20th

I've wanted to make a pure dance electronica album for a looooong time, and I finally got around to doing it. I made the album using mostly hardware synths (my newfound addiction), and this bassline was all from my Erica Synths LXR-02, which markets itself as a drum machine, but it's got some mean distortion that makes for some great basses and leads.

Anyways, hope you enjoy! Much more music to come this spring and summer.

Transfer Orbit

Second song off the new album, Peripheries. Had fun with the chaos on this one.

Like Transfer Orbit, I made most of this one by layering sequences from the LXR-02 (sequenced by the Oxi One) recording as I was tweaking it. It has a great internal distortion, and I also ran it through the Soma Lyra's distortion.

The Clearing

Dyadic is the third single from my upcoming electronica album Peripheries. This one is all about the bass.

The name comes from the fact that 80% of the song was made with the Fors Dyad VST, which is a dual monosynth with a built in sequencer, very similar to Elektron devices. I programmed the basslines and percussion, and then recorded the audio output as I tweaked it. Then mangle it to all hell. This was the last song I wrote for the album, which was originally 11 songs. This was also the fasted song completed from conception to mix.
