A piece I wrote for the City of Culture celebrations in Coventry - alas it never arrived with its intended recipient so was never played!
It is built around quotations of music and songs either from Coventry's past, or from songs which relate in some way to the traditions or industries for which Coventry has been famous.

This is a classical piece I composed originally for sax quartet and strings, in which each of the four saxophones had a leading role in each movement - so air was the soprano, water was the tenor, earth was the baritone and fire the alto. However I decided for this version to rearrange it for full chamber orchestra. It's a bit of a work in progress...
