Revelation of Sound is pleased to present CTAFAD. Electronic musician and guitarist, Sun Dawei is a very active composer in China. He started learning guitar at the age of fourteen, and later formed a punk band, which became the catalyst for him to open the door to music. Settled in Beijing in 1999, then began research and creation of electronic music, and at the same time began to dabble in Fashion Show, film, drama and commercial soundtrack work. After several transformations, in order to explore different music spaces.
He announced a new musician project - CTAFAD. In 2020, "Vertical Horizontal" was published on "Shanshui Music". In this album, you can hear "the original sound without too much modification, the sense of space like the atmosphere, and the ambitious ultrasonic experiment. In the end, an epic The core sound field has been carefully polished. The rhythm and bass line are proficient in interaction from the beginning, gradually unfolding and never extinguishing." In the subsequent release of "Vertical Horizontal Extended" and other EP albums, CTAFAD invited Claudio PRC, Blazej Malinowski, Atomic Moog, Polygonia, Laertes and IORI participated in the remix of the album.

A new music-making journey is driven by inner passion and exploration, collaboration anddevelopment. Slowly began to emerge in many foreign Techno labels. Such as: Sungate, Indefinite Pitch, Oslated, Intersum, Black Chrysalis Archives and KitchenSync. At the same time, he also created a new music label "GSXS" - mind in thought, full vision.

My idea for this mix was to keep it essentially dreamy but I also add in a bit of twisted/dark tones in between to try and give the mix a range of emotions. Hopefully it reaches out to you that way. I really hope you enjoy this journey

Revelation of Sound is honored to welcome back our good friend ABSIS with a mesmerizing recording of his all-night long vinyl DJ set recorded live at his Midline Laut party on 01.03.25.

ABSIS is a Barcelona-based DJ and producer known for his deep and introspective Techno music. He has been a regular in the Barcelona scene since the late 90s, performing at events like The Loft (Razzmatazz) and Sonar and Mostra. ABSIS explores the deeper side of electronic music, seamlessly transitioning between Ambient and Techno. He has released music on labels like Hivern Discs, Oslated, and Huinali Recordings.

Adam Rahman is a DJ/Producer based out of Dubai, who has been instrumental in developing the Techno scene in India and the Middle East.

A DJ, promoter, label owner, and festival co-owner, Adam Rahman has exerted a significant influence on the dance music scene in the Middle East, India, and now expanding his impact globally over the span of several decades. Although techno currently dominates the dance music landscape, he has consistently advocated for cutting-edge music, whether in the realm of Techno or Electronica.

An innovative DJ and visionary promoter, Adam introduced avant-garde techno and electronic music to the Middle East shortly before the turn of the millennium. Through his WARPED nights, he laid the foundation for an exceptionally credible dance music scene. WARPED has transformed into exclusive gatherings and a monthly radio show called 'Warped After Hours' on Ibiza Global Radio, featuring emerging talents from the Middle East and India alongside Adam's unparalleled music curation.

Further accomplishments ensued through his contributions at Ohm Records, the renowned record store and agency he managed for many years, which introduced brands like Chill Out Festival, Taboo, iLL Communications and many more. Frequently, he would also perform during those events, demonstrating his versatility across a spectrum of styles encompassing deep, rhythmic and captivating vibes. He has shared the stage with notable figures like Derrick May, Carl Craig, Kevin Saunderson, and numerous other renowned artists. Subsequently, he became an indispensable member of the acclaimed Groove on the Grass festival team, once again positioning himself at the forefront of innovative dance music scene in the Middle East. In doing so, he continued to propel techno and electronica toward a burgeoning audience.

The advancement he achieved on a regional scale has been mirrored by his international performances, spanning Europe and Asia, and elevating him to a headlining position in his home countries, India & UAE. As a certified sound engineer, he swiftly transitioned into production roles, releasing music on labels
worldwide, as well as on his cherished KitchenSync Records—a label he co-manages in Dubai with two other friends. His DJ sets have garnered global attention, with his mix for Resident Advisor's Wild City being the inaugural
feature from India.

Through his A \ S \ O \ M alias, he has put forth a diverse range of music encompassing downtempo, leftfield, and alternative electronica. Adam's growth, evolution, and success mirror that of his initial passion, techno. Adam delves into a broad spectrum within the house and techno genre, presenting an array that spans from deep, dark, hypnotic, driving, loopy sounds to the groove-infused house and techno influenced by the Romanian music scene.
