While experimenting in Vital synth with the 'Insomnia' preset, I got inspired to create something unique. I decided to blend it into a mix of Tech House, Techno, and Future Rave vibes. I had a lot of fun putting this together and hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoyed making it!

My history with #rufusdusol began in 2017 when I saw them at #LIB.  Later that year after the Weebly holiday party in SF (held at Mezzanine), at the afters, I expressed to them my appreciation for their music.  At that time I was not a music producer, so it was my pleasure to remix this song, a task I did not take lightly.  I tweaked the track for over a year to reach this final state, not perfect but a very enjoyable experience on a good system with subwoofers. The sound design is if Gorgon City (fm house bass) and Skrillex (bass from Rumble) had a child.  Hope you enjoy, and even if you don't I appreciate the listen.

We are proud to welcome back the fiercest female collab on the planet, ESSEL and Alex Mills. Adam first began music production in March 2020 during the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, and like a lot of people who tried something new, quickly got the bug and the excitement of creating music that he and others would like to listen to.  

Working as a Triage Paramedic in the UK, the increased pressures on everyone in the control room was taking a massive its toll on his teams’ health and mental wellbeing. Recognising this, he used his love for creating music to keep spirits up and keep the team smiling. Working closely with his team, their encouragement and positive comments has only made the team stronger and helped Adam with new styles and genres.  

Being a lover of trance music and having spent many years listening to the likes of Paul Vandyke, Robert Miles, Judge Jules and Pete Tong,Adam wanted to try and recreate some of the magic and masterpieces that they created, but in his own style.  

Adam started trying to create music that crossed boundaries and mixed genres. He experimented with trying to mix trap beats with warm soothing trance undertones to make uplifting memorable melodies that make you smile and keep your toes tapping. Adam adores pianos with some orchestral flavour thrown in. He also loves trying to incorporate the sounds of the wild and sounds from everyday life.  

Adam continues to mix genres together to make something new to challenges the way we think of music. It is OK to try something new and find your own way and Adam is happily finding his feet whilst trying to etch his own music style. Music is an art, and we all see things and hear things differently buy hey, that’s life all over!

10 months in still enjoying making some tunes but seem to have stuck on the same style 😂 time to try another and come back to the other I think.
