Hi, my name's Adam Whitney. I'm 17 years old, and music is my passion in life. I love almost every type of music out there (except country), but especially the styles of musical virtuosos, like Paul Gilbert, Yngwie Malmsteen, etc., orchestral and symphonic music, and death metal! 

Most of all, I love playing and writing music. Most of the music I play I wrote myself, and I've been playing 3 years and I play both the acoustic and electric guitar. My favorite styles of playing are acoustical melodies I've written from influences like Michael Hedges, John Butler, Mark Kroos and other solo acoustic acts.

As for the electric guitar, I mainly write more on the melodic side of metal, with influences from bands like Job for A Cowboy, The Black Dahlia Murder, Archons, Blinded in Bliss, Woe of Tyrants, August Burns Red and solo guitarists such as Angel Vivaldi, Stephan Forte, Andy James, and more!
For the most part, I try to keep an original sound and I draw influences from everything I hear. I find patterns and techniques from many different places and apply them to my own style and work with them to help me create something that works for me. If I play something and it sounds like something I’ve already heard before, I’ll try to spice it up or drop it completely.
